I'm not disagreeing about the call. It should never have been made .8 seconds into the game or .8 seconds left in the game. I also agree about consistency. EDIT- I'm not specifically talking about yesterday's game. Many of those calls were atrocious. But rather in a general sense of the game. Personally I thought it was a "play on". However, I disagree with officials "swallowing" their whistle the last few seconds to let the players decide. If something is going to be called .8 seconds into the game, it should be called .8 seconds left in a game. The players did decide when they committed a violation.
