  1. Maybe we’re saving the big payday for Lewis? He is the assistant coming off a Final Four run.
  2. I feel you. That said, most everyone I know has been fairly quiet as Louisville and Kentucky are dealing with their own issues.
  3. Hey. I’m just saying at some point you might have to steer into the skid. Dare to be (totally) different. Make your own headlines. And any other cliched phrase you can dream up.
  4. I don’t think it’s Mack but it’s not like Louisville and Bloomington are that far apart. I wouldn’t live in Louisville and work in Bloomington, but traveling back and forth often wouldn’t be an issue.
  5. We’ve made it pretty clear what the expectations are for IUBB. If she’s not out performing two previously fired coaches, then yes you can fire her. It’s about providing opportunities to quality candidates, the expectations remain the same and I’m sure she would agree.
  6. Well, that’s a well thought out rebuttal.
  7. It’s true, but where is she going to get those opportunities? Not a lot of opportunities for women coaches in male sports yet. She did coach an NBA team to a summer league title. Not a long record but it’s something. Would you be open to proven WCBB coach?
  8. If Dolson wants an NBA style, I say we make an offer to Becky Hammon. That’s a story I’d be proud of and I think she’d do exceptionally well. Unfortunately, I have no idea how recruits and parent would react. Toxic masculinity is still very much an issue in sports.
  9. I mean, now I just feel lonely. I guess anyone can PM me about anything. Just spread the love. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  10. http://www.indystar.com/story/sports/college/indiana/2017/03/30/bob-knight-praises-new-iu-coach-archie-miller/99856490/ This is about as high a praise as you could ever expect from Knight. Says a lot about the perception of Archie's skill/program management. This should make a few of the Alford fans feel better.
  11. Louisville is actually pretty awesome from a food/beverage/entertainment perspective but Louisville fans are starting to rub me the wrong way. I've given them a pass because we share a mutual hate for Kentucky but at least UK fans understand basketball. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  12. Really? I hate the Yum Center. It's like a crappy NBA arena. It ridiculously difficult to get in and out of (both the building and aisles) and it has no atmosphere. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  13. Hmmm...Is a million dollars worth being universally loathed (being the unskilled coach that I am) by all of Hoosier Nation? Tough one.
  14. BREAKING NEWS Tom Crean spotted in the belt section of a Georgetown area Macy's store.
  15. 14. Like you, I come direct to the second/third/fourth hand source (as sullied as it may be).
  16. If he truly spent some time reaching out to former players and area coaches, then it's entirely possible we're just now into the scheduling interviews phase.
  17. Relations with two players? Hmm...could this be the young lady mr. Bryant was talking about? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  18. Sorry, what's in Atlanta? Is that where the search firm is located?
  19. Hopefully everything but the timing is right. I can wait till tomorrow. It will be tough, but i can do it.
  20. When would media outlets find out about a press conference? Don't you usually want to give the HT, IndyStar, Peegs, etc. guys time to get there and report on the announcement?
  21. Don't try to make me feel better about it Tweeder, it's not going to work.
  22. Spotted in Bloomington, just as Glass was telling him how long the wait is on game day. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  23. I need this rumor to be true. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  24. He doesn't sound like a guy who wanted to keep Crean around.
