  1. Feel much better not getting Pechac. Huge get!
  2. When do we get a decision on Cobbs and why the delay? Don't they have all of the information by now? I'm thinking the longer we don't hear an answer the better the chances are he plays in this one. I guess it's possible we won't know until right up to kickoff.
  3. Also, Igehon at #46 overall. Five guys we have legit chances with in the top 50!
  4. So was there some type of miscommunication here? I'm curious to see if anyone acknowledges it.
  5. It would be nice to have at least 4 scholarships for this class based on how we sit currently with the talent. We are in on so many exciting players.
  6. That is the real test for AM regarding pulling in elite talent. He's already brought in a solid 2018 class. 2019 certainly has real promise and we will see what happens with Langford.
  7. I agree I think it would be very beneficial to get a big. There is no guarantee Davis is here for four years either. I think TJD is that guy. You pair him with Race and then you add 2 more from the best available (Brooks, Watford, Hurt, Anthony/Wiseman).
  8. I like our chances best with Brooks and TJD. I wonder what our chances are with Watford? Avery Johnson has been recruiting at a pretty high level at Bama. Think they may be our biggest competition. I think Wiseman is a long shot and Hurt seems like he doesn't really have a favorite at the moment but we have as good a chance as any with him.
  9. Hate to see this happen and no denying it'[s a huge loss for Wisconsin - https://www.cbssports.com/college-football/news/wisconsin-loses-a-top-defender-for-season-as-lb-cichy-tears-acl-3-things-to-know/ IU plays them Nov 4 in Bloomington
  10. I'll go with Newkirk but I could see Green/Davis emerging as go to guys later in the season.
  11. Really? I kind of have a hard time believing that. He failed at OU with his only success being with Blake Griffin. I see a number of possibilities that will have far greater resumes and also have Duke ties.
  12. I would expect them to get a 3/4 seed in tourney and win one or two games.
  13. I've wondered how much interest Mizzou had in Crean. There was definitely some buzz for a while. The thing with Crean is he would have been too stubborn to hire the Porter father IMO and that likely would have been a deal breaker. I do think he lands back in coaching after this season and ends up at a school like Clemson. We'll see.
  14. I think Michael Porter may be the only one and done from this group. It is interesting to note the Porter's have three younger sons still to come. So if they are anywhere near the two oldest in terms of skill level, it will be the gift that keeps giving for Mizzou.
  15. Mizzou is going to be very good! Crazy how a team can go from last in the SEC the last few years to probably a top 10-15 team. It helps when you hire a father of two of the best high school players in the country!
  16. Yeah I don't see that happening unless the recruiting landscape changes. It's a huge win just to knock off one of these programs every so often but to beat them all and outright win the conference, literally it would have to be a perfect storm.
  17. Seems like a no brainer then. It's not like Mich, OSU, Penn State are going down anytime soon. Whoever put these together did a horrible job lol.
  18. I doubt they do that because the OSU-UM rivalry. Penn State, Maryland, Rutgers all geographically make sense for this division. In the end, the rivalry that means the least is MSU-UM so I would think the most realistic option would be swapping Michigan state for Purdue or Illinois.
  19. Schiano says D-Line of OSU better than D-Line he had in Tampa. I'm very interested to see if our O-line can hold their own in this game and open up some holes for the RB's/give Lagow enough time to find open WR's https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/early-lead/wp/2017/08/06/ex-bucs-coach-greg-schiano-ohio-states-d-line-better-than-what-he-had-in-tampa/?utm_term=.077a070c7bc4
  20. This has been the MO the last few years with the football team. I can think of OSU two years ago as well (although Sudfeld got hurt as I recall). It's a much better problem to have then getting blown out but we haven't been able to close out or put away good teams. We let them stick around and then lose in a nail bitter. The one time we did do it was to Mizzou b/c we put the clamp down on the run game. WE have to have some kind of run game this year if we hope to beat these teams.
  21. Ahh makes sense. Thanks.
  22. Our WR corps sounds like it will be one of the strongest we have had in quite some time. I wonder if it means Peyton Ramsey is pushing Lagow or that he is set as the #2 QB. Assume it's the latter.
  23. If our D stays healthy, they are gonna keep us in games and could even win a game outright for us. Can our offense do enough to beat teams like OSU and Mich? I'm sure teams are excited that Lagow is our QB. Can we make the big play and keep our defense off the field. Can Lagow cut down on the TO's and bad decisions and can our running back at least establish some kind of success to help balance out the offense. These are all big questions I have going into the OSU game against their D.
  24. I hope so but I would be happy with 1. I just don't see how we beat Ohio State and no way @ Penn State. I think Wisky would be the most realistic out of all of them.
  25. This article says Missouri was #18 - https://www.cbssports.com/collegefootball/gametracker/recap/NCAAF_20140920_IND@MIZZOU
