The IU admin runs from confrontation just to protect someones feelings and that is the same narrative that has been pushed by all the political elites for the last twenty years.

I know some posters are saying that if Crean is to stay that they will still watch and support. I for one will not continue to watch or support a great program that once stood for greatness and frowned on political correctness and mediocrity flush all of its great hard earned history and respect down the toilet for the reasons mentioned. I know some will say you are not a true fan then, well i can tell you there has been no bigger fan. I love IU was born and raised a few miles from campus and now travel for several hours a few times a year for games. I love the Hoosiers but the for the last 20 years they have not been the Hoosiers I grew up loving. They have been kidnapped and brain washed can someone please put the admin through a psych and detox program. I have lost all faith, but they can still salvage the program by making the right choices and standing firm for the values that made the program great and would do the same again.

Steve please come home. Alford would be a great hire for IU. Would take the recruiting in state by storm and also now has connections all over the country. Most of all I want Crean gone.

The only way this was all Glass is if Crean is gone and neither wants to be subjected to the chorus of booing that would rain down from what little fan base would attend. No AD rejects a home game of any kind without consulting his coach, unless there is no civil discourse. I read this in a good way and I am not defending Glass at all. Be it now or next week or next season the feeling of the fan base will only grow ever more hostile and they both know they can not plug a hole in the dam with a band aid, water always finds its level.

Well said. I say this is the one thing that has been missing from IU other than a good sound coach for many years now.

I did notice that at some huddles some of the players were not engaged at all standing about 10 feet away at times.

My first time posting here so I know this has probably already been discussed. I am a long time Hoosier fan that wants Crean gone in the worst way. The guy has survived some of the worse pr issues to ever go on at IU. Players getting arrested in bars and for DUI. Players arrested in Dorms smoking the wild flower and last, but not least players running over another player and ruining the kids life. all of this on Creans watch and the guy is still here. The admin loves this guy the are always trying to cover for him and I say they will once again. I hope I am wrong!
