The pacers drafted Taelon Peter this year who I had never heard of before. He played at Liberty and has been better than expected. Hopefully Carr is able to find some diamonds in in the rough like that for cheap because there are definitely more possibilities out there as compared to the nba draft or free agency

I hope we’re actually able to have 4 shooters on the court next year. Get an elite PG somehow. I know we value 3 pointers but honestly outside of Lamar we’re not a good shooting team this year especially with how streaky tucker has been

I guess we’ll get a head start on the portal now that we don’t have to worry about the tournament. The pressure is on. Whoever our “o-coordinator” is get a new one please

A whole 3 points on 1-7 shooting from our point guards today. It’s impossible to win in college with guard play that bad. It’s as big an issue as our inability to get a rebound. I am not sure who thought enright playing more than 10 mpg would lead to a good season

It’s frustrating. Feel like teams know that we can’t or won’t try to beat them off the dribble and just hug our shooters. We don’t run many actions to get guys going downhill either. Granted we’re super limited athletically

I know everyone loves how hard enright plays but 0 points from your starting PG playing 25 minutes a game puts you at such a disadvantage. He has 3 points combined the last 3 games:/

Feels like every single game there’s at least a 5 minute drought where we don’t have a fg. It’s so frustrating when we become stagnant and don’t even try and attack the basket when our 3s aren’t falling. Getting harder for me to keep tuning in

Wonder if there’s a change in our transfer portal strategy this year. Michigan is basically all transfers but they all came from power conferences except yaxel who was a first round pick. A lot of former 5 stars and high 4 stars that had more to show. We tried the mid American all star route which outside of Lamar idk how successful it was

If it means anything his WVU team last year was way more talented. I doubt Devries forgot how to evaluate in a year so I have to hope it’ll be better with a full offseason but ya this roster isn’t great outside of Lamar

Only watched a half but against teams that pressure us we pass it around the perimeter for 20 seconds without even a look at the basket and then heave up a contested shot. Wish we played faster. Not much drive and kick against good teams

I think i see the vision. Make the tourney this year and it’s a success. I think our first shot defense is pretty good. Biggest complaint is obviously the rebounding and we foul too much. Offense can be stagnant but should hopefully improve with more players that can create their shot. Also would like us to play faster but I know our depth is not great. Excited to see what it’ll look with a more dynamic PG and hopefully 4 shooters on the floor at a time

Only made 5 3s and managed to win. Hopefully that’s our lowest the rest of the year

They got bittle back. Nervous about this one. Feel like these long athletic teams have given us fits all year

lol huge win. Thank you refs. I feel like this team is so close but refuses to do the little things. Any time we could put the game out of reach for good we’d miss a rebound, foul, or commits turnover. Hopefully it all comes together to finish the year

Dorn starting obviously helps us on offense but also our defense. We were basically switching everything and that’s a lot easier to do when there’s another 6’7 guy out there instead of two 6’2 guys. Enright was so scrappy fronting bilodeau in the post on those switches

Possibly the least athletic power 5 team. Tucker Devries may somehow become West Virginia and our least favorite player. Such a miss

Ngl tucker is looking like an even bigger miss. Bailey is terrible and shouldn’t be a big 10 player but i think most everyone expected Tucker to be one of the better players in the big ten and he’s been awful especially getting paid what he does

Ya like hypothetically you put Kevin Overton and Amani hansberry on this roster instead of enright and Bailey, two people that played for Devries in the past, and i think we’re pretty good. Idrk what happened this year other than just a total failure in scouting

Idk everyone’s favorite coaches dusty and Brad are probably two of the calmest coaches in the world on the sidelines. I think on the list of problems this is low. We just don’t have very good players this year

I’m honestly shocked how untalented /unathletic this roster is just comparing it to Devries WVU roster and that’s even with two of his best players out last year. He definitely had more options available this year with our resources than at WVU

lol we’re @$$. Need a total revamp in player scouting from the portal. Most of the class has been a bust. I do have hope that when tucker is gone next year and we have someone actually worth tuckers NIL we’ll be better but ya not a very fun product to watch
