    I wander why we got no one off of WV other than his son. Not saying it’s good or bad. I just was expecting we would have got a couple of players that fit.

    I also don’t think you can compare this portal season to last years. It definitely seems more difficult to get commitments.

    If Wilkerson takes the Kentucky visit, I don’t think he is coming. Seems like he would have been a great fit.

    Kenny Johnson seems like a pretty mediocre hire from the outside. It doesn’t seem that large staff payroll really got us too far.

    Is Bidunga the mystery big? I sure hope so. If the rumor of Adam’s being on the staff is true, maybe he already working on getting Bidunga.

    I could care less if we win the offseason. We have done that many times over this last decade and it has resulted in very little success. Maybe I am overly optimistic, but I feel he will put a really competitive team out there next year. We may just not have the 5 star types.

    I would think B Tucker would be looking for a mins guarantee and I don’t see DeVries giving that. If they both come to an agreement and he decides to stay, great. I would like to see what a new staff can get out of him.

    I feel like he was one of those coaches that benefited heavily from being able to cheat. Now that everyone can pay players, he is just average.

    It’s interesting watching the mental gymnastics with Iowa fans on X who have now revised all of their opinions on DeVries vs McCollum. DeVries wasn’t the coach they wanted very badly just a week ago. McCollum is a great coach but he comes with a fair amount of risk as well.
