Oats or Musselman is the answer to bring IU back. You can book it or quote that. 100% fact. Drew and Beard would be solid as well. I'm starting to think we end up with Beilein which won't be horrible because he's a good coach but it won't be too exciting bringing in a 70 year old.

If the best coach we can get offering 6+ a year is Woodson then I doubt we'll have many fans watching about like this year. Yikes

Then be happy with another low offer for a mid major coach. Why do we care if they get 3 mil or 6 mil? Got to pay to get one of those guys. No reason to be cheap because obviously that hasn't worked.

I can't imagine they go this route. Beilein possibly but no chance on Woodson. At least I hope not. I can't see how they don't get one of the top 4 I mentioned with the money they're throwing around.

Whatever offer he made for Stevens should be presented to Oats. Make him turn down 8 mil a year. Thst would be a grand slam walk off HR in game 7 of the NLCS. If he turns it down, go to Musselman present the same offer. No way he will turn that down. It's what we have to do and we'll be back to being a really really good program.

Yup, Oats if definitely the guy to go all in on. I put Mussel earlier because Oats said he was out. Hopefully that's because his team is still in the tourney. He would be perfect but Musselman would be a good fall back. Oats is the real deal.

I'd put big money on it that he would walk. He wants to big at a big time program. Arkansas is not close to peak Indiana.

I believe he will want the IU chance over Arkansas. If not, then we have fallen a longgggg way.

Musselman is the answer. I hope Arkansas loses this weekend and we go hard for him. He may not be a big name for all but will have all the fans backing him in a year. He is a really good coach and will recruit well too.

My prediction Mack- 35% Beilein -10% Matta- 30% Beard - 25% Has to be one of those 4 or an out of left field nobody is talking about. I guess maybe Bennett but I highly doubt that.

They know Mack well since he recruited him Lander. Would be easy for him to tell Lander which told ND. I am guessing that is who it will be. He has been out of the tourney so they could of easily been in negations. Is Mack a home run, I'd say probably.

If they know the hire, you know they would be putting out the name. Everyone wants to be first to announce so I don't buy they know the name. Maybe just they know we have someone. I believe they have been told we have a hire and it's a good one so they say homerun without truly knowing if that's the case.
