I've stated my top 3 current college coaches I would want and that's Bennett, Archie Miller and Marshall. I'm torn on Bennett and Archie though. I think either of those would be better than Marshall. That's not to say I wouldn't welcome Marshall but I do think Tony Bennett and Archie Miller would be better suited for IU

And Frank Martin can definitely coach basketball. His Kansas State teams were pretty fundamentally sound. And South Carolina? He's doing wonders with that program. Tied for first in the SEC with Kentucky is extraordinary

Lot of good basketball today. Then we have that dumb March Madness preview at 12:30. The equivalent of the college football playoff rankings show. But if it's gonna be done either way, I would rather it be the basketball setup. You don't need a rankings show every week like football does. One set of rankings and then the final rankings. I think the 3rd scenario plays out. I don't see any way this team makes the NCAA tournament. Crean won't resign though because his ego is way too big. But I also believe your 1st scenario could happen as well. This team will miss the tournament but Crean will probably be excused due to injuries to his top players. But all of us know that IU was terrible before all the injuries started. They started 1-3 in conference with everyone except Hartman, who has been out the entire year

There is absolutely no way Tom Crean is back next year. Fred Glass can't be that big of an idiot. There is no way Glass doesn't hear the negative noise from everywhere. This is what I keep telling myself anyway

If we are talking current college coaches right now, I would say Bennett, Archie and Marshall in that order. All three of those coaches are significant upgrades. If Stevens truly is a no go, Tony Bennett is the guy
