It just hit me why Romeo might be waiting. He is waiting to see what the rosters look like after everyone either transfers, declares for the draft, or graduate transfers commit to the different teams. He isn't going to Louisville because that would look awful on his part after all the time these 3 coaches have put in. Romeo isn't Garland.

I want both really bad. This would be a ridiculous roster imo. Starters: Phinisee, Langford, Taylor, Morgan, Thompson? Bench: Green, Durham, McRoberts, Hunter, Smith, Davis, Moore, Forrester, Anderson The size and the length of that team could cause some serious issues for some teams. Now I know we'll have to wait and see if anyone transfers but that team could make a deep tourney run imo. Hopefully CAM can convince Romeo and Taylor of that as well.

I've seen this for a couple years now having attended several Pendleton Heights basketball games. But here is a glimpse of his athleticism on the basketball court as well.

Would he be good enough for CAM to give a roster spot to? That could be enticing for him to be able to be on the roster for possibly both basketball and football. Especially if we are contending for deep tourney runs at that point.

This might lend some credence to the rumor that someone posted last week that TJD told Romeo to stay for 2 years so they could play together. Not saying it's anything but who really knows lol.

Reality is Anderson won't play much his freshman year. That is why we are looking at grad transfer shooters.

He is possibly the best recruiter that IU has over the next 4 years.

Yes he did move to Gburg from New Castle. He still has family that lives in New Castle.

I think Ed was really brought in to get IU in the door for many of these recruits because of his in state connections and his player development. Not to be an actual recruiter. Plus bringing him in helped mend the fences with many of the in state high school coaches that had issues with FCTC.

The only way that they would take Henry is if CAM believes they can live with Davis, Moore, Forrester, Smith, Morgan, and Thompson playing most of the 4 and 5 minutes or one of either Davis or Moore will be transferring after this season. I'm not going to lie. I could live with the following roster going into next season if their is any truth to this rumor. Sr. Morgan PF Sr. McRoberts Walk On SF Jr. Green PG Jr. Davis C So. Smith PF So. Durham SG So. Moore PF Fr. Thompson PF Fr. Hunter SF Fr. Phinisee PG Fr. Anderson SG Fr. Forrester PF Fr. Henry SF Fr. Romeo ? SG That would leave at least 2 scholarships for 2019 and could be more if someone decides to leave early or transfers.

I'm really liking the improvements of Durham and Green these last few games.

It's also been said that they are big fans of CAM. This is probably because he gave Vijay the chance to be on the team. I don't think we need to worry about this one for a couple of more years.

Well the previous staff also never contacted Trendon Watford so I don't know what to tell you other than they weren't as good at recruiting as some let on.

I agree with this 100%. I'm not saying he will produce like him but he plays similar to the way Buddy Hield played at Oklahoma a couple years ago. You have him as a back up shooting if we land Romeo and I like that position a lot going into next year.

I really think Schilling's connection to the family will play a huge role in this recruitment before it's all said and done.

That's not even mentioning Race Thompson. The talent level is possibly really different this time next year.

He could maybe play in a pinch if injuries or depth issues become a problem. He isn't near the shooter though that James or Jalen are though so I don't think he would help that much with that.

Well that's false if we land Romeo. The reality is you never know what transfers will be available.

You never know what grad transfers will be available. Some of those guys can have a real impact.

Or maybe McBob would rather them use the scholarship to go get someone else to help get to a final four. I'm sure McBob's family/older brother could cover him for one more year.
