Ramsey still can’t throw the ball more than like 15 yards. Also I believe the wind was blowing like 45 mph in the Penn State game. The problem is that nobody knew if Manning would play again for sure at the time. They had a quarterback in the draft that almost every talent evaluator was saying was the best since Elway. Hindsight is a heck of a thing but what your suggesting was never a possibility because Luck was always going to be a day 1 starter for any franchise that drafted him. The OC is also the top assistant and the associate head coach. IU already has a top assistant and associate head coach in Tom Ostrom. That wasn’t going to change. Mike Roberts will work to improve the program. Just because he’s not a splashy recruiter or former star player doesn’t mean he won’t be a good assistant coach. Here’s my issues with your argument. 1) Brown is a 6’1 PG and not a wing. 2 ) You haven’t seen him play so you can’t evaluate him. 3) Most people aren’t pushing for Brown to get an offer they are just wishing they would show him some interest in case he hits a growth spurt or starts getting other high major offers.
