Anderson was the higher rated recruit and the better shooter. Henry was the better athlete and defender. IU offered Anderson early then they offered Henry near the end of his AAU season after his stock went up. Then like two days after they offered Henry Anderson and Hunter both committed on the same day. The staff told Henry his scholarship was still valid but he decided on MSU. Quit with the nonsense that they took one over the other because that wasn’t the case. Henry was about ready to commit until those two committed. All I’m saying about Brooks is that he struggled last year against Romeo and this year against Galloway. Is he talented? Yes but I don’t see a one and done and something about him always rubbed me the wrong way and I’m not sure why. IU will be fine as long as Hunter is healthy which is a big if at this point. So just some thoughts on the transfer rumors. Desmond Bane is a guy I could see wanting to transfer closer to home for a few reasons. He is from Richmond. He lived with his grandparents and I’m not sure how much they’ve gotten to watch him play at TCU. He also seems to have peaked with what he can do at TCU in that system because Dixon seems to let certain guys have to much freedom. Something else I could see is anyone that IU has recruited in the past that went to LSU or Georgia Tech since guys could be looking to transfer and avoid any postseason bands that could be coming for those programs. He isn’t a good ball handler. He doesn’t play hard. He only shoots 3’s although he’s really good at that. He isn’t a good passer. I actually don’t think Keion has made a final decision. I think all these different rumors are coming from people in his camp that keep saying that he’s going somewhere because that is where they want him to go but it’s not necessarily the decision that he has made. The back and forth with all three schools is really reminding me of what happened the last couple weeks with Romeo last year.

If it comes down to what Jr wants then I think IU will be alright.

Let's all hope that Sr. gives his approval over the next few days or then there could be some cause for concern but I think Jr's love for IU and the state of Indiana wins out.
