The student-athlete term was destroyed a while ago sadly. And that doesn't start with college. That starts in elementary school now. Sports and school if you feel like it. What happens at UK? No clue. If something is happening it show itself eventually. I'm not worried about them being caught. I'd say it is best they don't. Not that it is best they cheat if they are. I'd just hope they doing what they're doing cleanly. Because it creates a higher level of competitiveness. Which is good for the sport. Sports need villains. Makes it more interesting. I wish Indiana was a villain on the CBB stage but we're just here at the moment while schools like Kentucky and Duke are dominating on the recruiting trail and great on the court. All of them should be pursuing a professional career. Every college athlete should be working their ass off to be a professional athlete. They may have no chance. But if they work that hard it'll make everyone better across the slate. I don't care if it is a walk on. I feel a lot of players go to college and just say "well I'm here and can get a free education so it is whatever." Rather than "I have the opportunity and resources to become as good as I possibly can and push my own limits." He has the potential but he doesnt. He does because the resources are there to become a Trevor Ariza. A reliable defender that can hit the 3. I don't think he'll be anywhere near Ariza though. Ariza is a starter in the league and has been on a title team. He doesn't have the potential because I don't think he understands what he needs to do and the people surrounding him don't know either. Klay Thompson is an All-NBA player, would be a super star on any team. He is one of the best shooters of all time and one of the best perimeter defenders in the NBA. How is Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green not obviously better than Russell Westbrook, Victor Oladipo and Steven Adams? You can argue the Westbrook-Curry part. But Green is better than Adams. Maybe not by a ton but he is better. And there is no need to discuss Klay to Vic. They aren't on the same planet.
