I can think of somebody pretty darn connected from NA The Cook Hall legacy court is co-named after the family. I tend to agree with previous posts that if we don't know by the middle of next week, it's got to be someone still coaching. There's too much of an urgency to start recruiting and get everything settled down for it to be something else.

I have heard that he likes Duke, but IU, Kansas and UofL are all in the mix. Apparently, Romeo's dad had a bit of a disagreement with Calipari. Supposedly, Calipari started talking about the NBA with Romeo, and his dad told him off and that Romeo was going to college to get an education first, not as a stepping stone to the NBA. Now this is from a barber shop/salon in downtown NA... stuff goes around there but I can't say with confidence that the information is 100% accurate. I'd think that if Romeo's family is looking for a school that will put a priority on education and develop him well for the NBA, Duke and IU would be the places IF we can hire someone like Donavon, Stevens, Miller, etc. when we ditch Crean.

No worries. I more so wanted to point out the attention being given to Romeo -- even from Crean in his waning hours (hopefully) at IU. I'm praying we get a Donavon or a big time recruiter who can pull Romeo into IU. I'd love to see someone from my HS in the Candy Stripes

FWIW. Crean has definitely not stopped recruiting; he was in New Albany last night for the Bloomington North vs. New Albany (defending 4A State champs) to watch Romeo Langford and a guy from BN.

I used to run The People's Poll over when CBS had their forums still up. We just had everyone post their ballots on the thread. Someone used a program to then input all of the ballots and tally them. I say keep trying and the interest will grow eventually.
