  6. If he were going today I think we would probably have heard by now.. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  7. Yeah seems like Sunday would be too hard. I would expect a visit next Saturday, unless of course Garland pops during the week Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  8. I haven't seen this, but I think that's a good time frame. Gives Archie a chance to get down there again..
  9. If he wants to announce ON November 14th, I'd be very scared and nearly 100% sure it will be Vandy. I can see him doing something like Yogi did when he announced going to IU in front of his crowd and they went crazy. If he commits BEFORE November 14th, I'll feel much better that it goes in our favor...
  10. If DG does choose Vandy, I hope it all works out. Have loved following his recruitment and this thread too much to see people turn on him (not trying to start a debate on here). We still have a really strong recruiting class and the future is bright!
  11. so are you of the opinon that he chooses Vandy?
  12. I am more in the party of the location of where you live also has a factor on who you consider a bigger rival. Obviously, UK and Purdouche are unchallenged 1 and 2 (although, I would put Purdue at 1 instead of Kentucky); however, growing up in Ohio, I always thought of OSU as more of a rival to Indiana than Illinois...
  13. In the education realm, we often discuss the difference between 'high expectations' and 'realistic expectations.' While I appreciate your enthusiasm and gusto (and, man, would I love for you to be correct), I believe yours falls more into the former and not at all into the latter...
  14. signing in the fall, for a top recruit like Romeo is mostly (if not completely) for the fans. Their spots will be held. By signing in the spring, they can see the make-up of the team and possible projections for the following season. get a look of players growth in the off-season, season-ending injuries, how a team handles adversity and, (possibly most importantly for Indiana's situation), exactly how a new coach's system works at a new school. I completely understand that it could be beneficial for the player to sign early by "getting it out of the way" and "being able to focus on their high school season," but even if they choose to wait until spring, I would be surprised the size of the impact waiting has on a players psyche... With all this being said, I hope he commits soon, for my own sanity and productivity at work!
  15. It is my opinion that Garland pops before Romeo..
  16. so basically, Thanksgiving is the time to cut it to three, but the last sentence leaves an out for it POSSIBLY being earlier if he is set on where he wants to go. EDIT: ...which I personally believe he will announce earlier than Thanksgiving, one way or the other.
  17. my favorite/first memory of truly WATCHING indiana basketball was during this game..
  18. Agree with this. Crean WAS the man to bring us up from the depths of what Sampson left us AT THE TIME. He did as well as most anyone could in that situation. He wasn't always consistent, and often times, I personally, was left wanting more, but given his first couple of teams and how well he was able to bring us back, I would never call his tenure a failure.
  19. Sounds like my plagiarism attempts in high school.. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  20. I’m sure those that each of us live around respectively think that fan base is the worst. I’m sure Oklahoma dans in Texas thing Texas fans are the worst. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  21. Same. Growing up in Ohio living with buckeyes fans was awful. Only thing worse us now living in Kentucky with UK and Louisville fans Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
  22. It’s a big decision, he is (IMO) much closer to 50-50 then RL with hometown school. I just see him taking more time. Hope I’m wrong for sure. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app
