Now that thons off the board for this season
FindEndNow replied to drewheck's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Michigan State at MSU. He was nowhere. Troy should honestly be able to average 17 points abs 8 rebounds. Even with Yogi and JBJ out there with him. -
I'm worried about in-state recruiting.

Indiana just had a player kicked off the football team for dealing coke, herion and meth. He's from Indy. Indy isn't candy land... depending on what your candy is. But no one has a meth problem line Indiana. It's sad to see. But if one player was doing this... there's gotta be two. -
I like Turner to play the 4. We need to find a big man to replace to replace Hibbert. Really the only untouchables on the team should be George and Turner. This isn't a team built to contend. It is built just to have a team period. A lot of changes need to happen.

No. In the NBA Vic is better. At IU it was Cody. And it wasn't very close. -

I'm kinda ok with our recruiting. More and more it seems we need to stay out of Indy. Indiana itself(especially Southern Indiana) just seems to have a drug problem. Southern Indiana it is meth. Indy it is everything you get your hands on. They just don't get far enough away. I feel that's why transfers go to Iowa State. What trouble can you get into in Iowa? Lol. -

lol. He does. It happens. But I'd still like to see him play more than 30 minutes a game. If we're up by 30 against some crap team then put OG in. -
Noah Vonleh to the Trailblazers.

not like 3 pointers but like small forwards. -

McRoberts could take some 3's off the dribble. Kaminsky won't be able to do that. -

McRoberts wasn't the best player. That was Big Al. And McRoberts athleticism helped him be so versatile. Kaminsky doesn't have McRoberts perimeter skills at all. -

they lost to Fullerton in the Super Regionals? Either way it is farther than we made it. And we didn't make it to the CWS last year. We lost to Stanford. Or was that in the CWS? College baseball is difficult to keep track of. -

We have been beating UofL. But Vandy was just in the title game again. UofL was in the CWS again. They're much more successful than we are. -

Well those 3 schools are always very very good. So it makes sense for them to leave. -

Vonleh was picked on potential. Which he has a ton of. The Kaminsky pick to me is odd. Unless they're planning to play him behind Jefferson for a year and then let Al walk. Kaminsky can play the 4 IMO. I don't think he can have anywhere near the impact as a Pau Gasol had at the 4. -

Really? I guess we pretty have nothing but 3 stars coming off the bench. -

I'm talking about the 4 star players that came in that year. Fant and Latham are the only 2 of the 5 or 6 left. All defensive players except for one. -

Wilson had a really good 2013 class. But only Darius Latham and Rashad Fant are left. Antonio Allen was kicked off. David Kenney and Kris Smith transferred. Taj Williams never made it on campus. So that hurt a lot. Just like Crean's 2012 class. Both were built on a few Indiana players. Multiple ones from Indy. -

It isn't the 80's. Indiana doesn't carry the same weight it once did. We've never been good at football and the best talent is down south. In basketball the players would rather go to Purdue, Notre Dame, Michigan or Michigan State. I'm fine not recruiting Indy. But if we're going to recruit out of state then we need to recruit the absolute best just like Kentucky, Duke, Kansas. -

Troy very well could pass Vonleh. But it just speaks to how good Vonleh was. And I don't know about their pro careers. Troy reminds me a lot of Gerald Green. And it took Green sometime to find a place in the NBA. But with a player like Troy you just never know. He could be an All-star or he could be out of the league after a few years. Vonleh though plays defense and rebounds. That'll always keep you around. -

A guard would be nice. But if we use our roster right then we're 2 deep at every spot. We shouldn't really worry too much about who is behind Troy. Troy should be playing 35 minutes. -
I'd like to see him there as well. It is one night. One night with a ton of clapping. How is he not interested in that? Lol. But I bet it's a cool night for the players and also for the coaches that go. Cal is really the only one you see go. He also is the best recruiter in CBB by miles and miles.
-
Nope. I don't understand why he wasn't there. Same with Vonleh. Go support those guys. It only helps.
-
Today's was a good one. Shows how much work everyone needs. Still saw some bad habits on some drills though like standing up too straight. Let's hope the coaches notice and fix.
-
he'll get a shot. But he's not much of an NBA player. Better players have failed. Players just like him often fail to make it.
