  1. 7 o'clock tonight on ESPN. I feel like it'll be an exciting night. It should be. Wondering who the Pacers will take. Wondering who will the join Victor. Hoping Zeller gets traded. I haven't yet figured out what Dwyane Wade is doing so I don't know if I should be worried about who they pick. But should be a fun watch!!!! Really good talent this year.
  2. The unreachable number for IU football. But it looks like Indiana is going to have to go into B1G play at 4-0. We have to beat Purdue. Then we have 7 games to win just one. Will it even be able to happen? How much can our defense step up in our DC's 2nd year? Big and possibly last year for Kevin Wilson.
  3. http://www.insidethehall.com/2015/06/29/ranking-the-top-10-players-of-the-tom-crean-era/ I didn't think you could mess this up. Apparently you can. Im fine with all of this.... except for the last part. It shouldn't have been too hard.
  4. I don't think it is 101% official bit probably 99%. The Trailblazers are sending SF Nicolas Baum to the Hornets for Vonleh and Gerald Henderson. I think it says a couple things. The Trailblazers are thinking that Aldridge is gone and the Hornets are drafting Devin Booker to play the 2. Look for more trades to come out of Charlotte and Portland. This could be good if Aldridge leaves for Vonleh. He could be a starter along with Lillard, Matthews and Lopez. Unless the Trailblazers trade everyone like it's 2K15.

    Noah Vonleh to the Trailblazers.

Bender dealt with multiple injuries though. Which draft class was he in? 2000?

    I'm worried about in-state recruiting.

Well I'm not just going to agree with what everyone says here. And I'm going to type my opinion. Why wouldn't I? I thought this place would be better than ITH but it's just the same almost but with more variety(as to topics).

And neither am i. Cody was better at IU than Vic.

And when you take both into account. Cody was still better. Vic is a better player now. Though his defense slumped because of the offensive load he must carry.

Yes. And so did Cody. That's what great players do.

Calbert put up the best ones on ITH. I'd go check them out. He also compares Zeller to some other B1G players like Sully and Burke.

Cody was actually pretty good at defense. You won't find many big men that'll hedge on a screen and pick a PG's pocket.

I think it was originally a baseball statistic. But takes a players performance ties it in with the success of the team.

Cody was a better player over his career. Vic had about 3/4 of a season. The win shares totals are just great by Zeller which was like 14.3. Vic's wasn't quite 13.

Just go check the stats. Zeller was better. His win shares is the most impressive part of it for just two years.

    I'm worried about in-state recruiting.

We don't recruit Southern much anyways. Indy is just like Chicago though. I was told we shouldn't recruit Chicago because it is sketchy. Well so is Indy.
  16. He averaged 13 points and 7.4 rebounds last year. He's pretty much there with the rebounds. No reason he can't averaged almost 17 points a game.

Vic was a media favorite for his rise. Zeller was consistently put down by the media for whatever reason. I think how the media put Cody down had skewed people's view on him. If you go to the ITH link, a poster put up some good stats. Win shares being the biggest one.

I really hate people talking about how that team couldn't shoot. You know what you do about that? You adjust your game to fit your personnel. Every year UofL can't hit water if they were in the ocean. Yet they're good. Not having 3 point shooters is a terrible excuse. We had Yogi, Gordon, Sheehey, Etherington and Vonleh. Hollowell and Hartman. We had people who could shoot on the team. But that team was so badly misused by the coaching staff. That alone should have had people fired.

    Noah Vonleh to the Trailblazers.

Turner is a good shot blocker. But Turner actually has a nice shot on him. He did struggle with his shot in his 1 year but Texas as a team struggled.

The gangster Pacers lol. But yea... they were. I'd rather pick with potential. Turner has a TON. Kaminsky... we'll he's where he is at.

    I'm worried about in-state recruiting.

Well it ties into the thread and a problem with recruiting in Indiana. You don't always know what a player is doing off the field. Antonio Allen though was a bit of an extreme case I'd say.
  22. FindEndNow

    Noah Vonleh to the Trailblazers.

No. But Hansbrough was picked on college production WAY over potential. Same with Kaminsky. Both are career backups. Hansbrough was arguably a better player in college as well. He was a beast at UNC.

    Noah Vonleh to the Trailblazers.

We've picked Tyler Hansbrough once. Why do it again?

Not even Illinois. Indiana is well known as the meth capital. Sad but true. But that rural America. Greatly lead by Southern Indiana. I live in a small town and all you see in the paper are meth busts lol.

I would be embarrassed if the Pacers had picked Kaminsky over Turner.
