My question is if Beard didn't have Knight ties, would people be as high on him? Yeah he made a NC runner up run. We fired a guy who did that. Beard has 2 20 win seasons in 5 tries. We fired a guy for having 4 of in 6 tries. I get he's at TT and it's not an easy place to win, but a washed up Knight strung together a string of 20 win years at the end of his career there. It's not impossible to be relatively successful there.

Don't think it's money anymore. "I'm not a kid anymore" is referring to this not being his dream job anymore in my opinion. His wife once had an interview and stated "we're past the dream job". I don't think he just views this job as one he would die to have as he did growing up or early in his profession.

Doubt it. My number 1 concern in this hiring process was Dolson's ties to the Knight era. Looks like it may be valid
