That's the thing about Tom Crean, though. He actually knows a lot about basketball, or at least one would think so. I've been catching his radio show a lot lately and everything he says, I agree with, but he really doesn't seem to be able implement any of it. So, I'm really trying to figure out where the disconnect lies. Is he just parroting info he doesn't understand or is there some disconnect between Crean and the players? Or Maybe he's over-complicating things. Who knows? He spent a fair amount of time discussing how important taking care of the basketball was and, yet, we have a team that is 339th (out of 346) in the county in turnover margin. He also talks about all the little things like defensive positioning, going over screens, rotating the help man, etc... In essence, all the thing they need to do to get better. Yet, game in and game out, there's just confusion on the defensive end. Seems like the team wants to do well, but they just look lost out there. Regardless, as with the wiki page, it's pretty comical (or at least it would be if I weren't a lifelong IU fan).
