    If you make them waste the timeouts they aren't going to let you score..   At that point they would of had what, 20 seconds or something and no timeouts? They would rather try to force us to kick a FG and maybe block it than let us score I would think.

    Not impressed at all with Appleby, he made some horrible decisions.

    Give them time, they may look better next week against a better opponent. I know getting Scales, Latham, Dutra, and Green back will help a lot. If they still look like swiss cheese next week then we can panic.

    Honestly somewhat surprised we stopped them on 5/13 drives... Seemed like it'd be worse.

    He's not as fast as Coleman, but he's a much more powerful runner. Seems like he drags a defender 4-5 yards after first contact nearly every run and Redding's speed makes him a nice change of pace back. Our offense will be really balanced this year.

    Has the football team really been that bad? You had the Allen incident but outside of that I don't think our team has been any worse than most.

    Defense was terrible, but Oregon also allowed EWU to put up about 500 yards of offense on them. It happens.

    Trust me, you won't miss watching the defense (besides the 3rd quarter when they played well). I still think adding Dutra, Latham, Scales, and Green into the mix will help us out quite a bit especially Scales. That dude very well could be the best player on the team, period.

    Also I love the way Jordan Howard plays, seems like the first guy who gets to him has no chance of bringing him down.

    Something I thought about during the game: When SIU was hitting those tight end release routes that killed us, I was thinking how much Tegray Scales could of helped there.

    Scales, Latham, and Dutra coming back will help the defense. Again it's too early to panic, wasn't it Nebraska last year who needed a last second miracle play to beat a FCS school? I think most here would be satisfied if we turned out to be as good as Nebraska lol. We have to improve though.

    Yea Bryant is basically the perfect 5 man for our system, has size and can board and play defense, but also has the ability to spread the defense. Massive props to Crean because I truly do not think there was a recruit out there who fits our needs better than Thomas Bryant.

    We can play Hartman at the 4 spot and it's not he needs to be that quick to defend most 4's.

    Thomas looks a good 2 inches taller than both of them. I'd say OG and Juwan are both 6'8 while Thomas is 6'10

    He would be a massive get, seal the deal Crean! Bryant would make us really have no glaring weakness on paper offensively.
