  1. 86 years since we won in College Park? Holy Smokes - get off our backs Mr. Monkey!
  2. The rotund lady is ready to warble....
  3. Fisch just said that layup was his first points ever in the B10...now a 3!
  4. Kind of hard for a team to maintain momentum or get in their groove when play stops every 15 seconds. AND It takes a lot of enjoyment out of watching the game.
  5. 7 fouls in less than 10 minutes and many were ticky-tack...smh
  6. It's always good to go to the locker room with your biggest lead of the half. Still have 20 to play though....
  7. Geronimo simply jumps higher than anyone else on the court..
  8. Race Thompson - suddenly a 3 point juggernaut!!!!
  9. It kind of reminded me of Sherron Wilkerson's spiral fracture in that there was no contact or awkward movement. Whatever the case, fingers crossed.
  10. I'll bet PSU's msg board tonight looks identical to ours on Sunday.
  11. Sloppy dunk - still worth 2 points...
  12. Race is having himself an outstanding game so far.
  13. Man, Rob must have lost his glass slippers after the PU game...
  14. Yeah, we were on track for a 107-0 win until that happened...
  15. I suspect there's a certain amount of adjustment that Woody is going through still. Not from an X's and O's standpoint, but understanding what to expect from 19-22 year old kids. Unlike the young players he coached in the NBA, these kids aren't professional level talents. He's learning just how much can be coached into a kid versus how much is raw talent. Establishing his culture and system is as much about recruiting as it is coaching. IMO, he's done quite well instilling a focus on defense and trying to get them to play a pro style offense, but every player on this roster has a "achilles heel" part of their game. We as fans sometimes have unrealistic hope that after a great win the players will have turned a corner when it's the same players with the same faults. Finding a way to play to each player's strengths is the challenge. I would be remiss if I failed to beat my deceased equine on the need for better, more consistent shooters (lol).
  16. yeah. I know our defense gave them a lot of open looks, but I don't believe for a minute that if we got that many wide open looks we'd make anywhere near that percentage. Maybe it's an unrealistic wish on my part but it seems like I've been pleading to get a lights out shooter for a long, long time. One positive about today - we're not "peaking" too early in the season...
  17. Well. Maybe getting embarrassed at home can provide some motivation. IDK. We're a team that just isn't capable of playing well on any kind of consistent basis. Fortunately that applies to most of the teams in our league.
