I remember him while he was at Seneca High School. Was probably the best player in the Louisville area. He committed to Louisville before Teddy Bridgewater. Bridgewater committed to U of L and Smith went to Central or South Florida I think. Things didn't work out for him there and he went with Petrino to WKU. Not sure why he left there.

This article from Yahoo Sports quotes Bluiett's reason for leaving was because it was too far from home. The article goes on to speculate that possible competition for playing time may have been a factor. Not that there is anything wrong with wanting to play.
