IUBB Recruit Rankings

He looked every bit the part when they came to Kokomo a few months ago -
And yet Booker's production pales in comparison to Flory.... Flory has shown plenty of times he can grab and go and take it the length of the court. He's also got great vision and passes well out of double teams. Yeah a lot of his points are dunks or other shots near the rim. Why would he do anything else? Booker is what, 6'10 and the kid doesn't know how to use his size, just wants to sit out there and chuck up jump shots. Give me Flory every day of the week.

IUBB vs Purdue: 2/25 @7:30 on FOX

What a phenomenal performance from JHS offensively and a great team effort defensively in that 2nd half!! To beat them like that in their house is no easy task. -
He's faced plenty of size and it hasn't slowed him down. Cincy has a connection to him which means they'll be in it to the end. I'm not high on Xavier Booker but they faced each other this past summer and while Cathedral got the W, Bidunga got the better of Booker. Highlights on YT if you want to check it out.

(2023) - SG Jakai Newton to INDIANA

This is definitely a different style of basketball than I'm used to watching -
It's not a real low dribble, but he's able to still take off with it at full speed and guys just can't catch him. Him leading the fastbreak is quickly becoming my favorite thing to watch for during games. If he can continue to improve his handles, THAT is what's really going to elevate his offensive game. He's also a good passer out of double teams and does a good job of getting the ball to his guards on fast breaks and then racing ahead for lobs.

Not yet he doesn't. His FT shooting does look better than last year (without looking at the numbers) and I don't think he'll ever be an outside shooter, but you hope that he can eventually develop a midrange game. Still so raw in so many ways. I know you weren't inferring this, but many people jokingly ask if he can do anything other than dunk and the answer to that is yes but at the HS level that isn't a necessity often. He's actually got nice touch around the rim, nice little jump hook and has even brought out a little fadeaway a few times. His development is fun to watch and I keep having to remind myself he's just a junior and has only been playing organized ball for a couple years. The little flashes of "what could eventually be" are tantalizing.
