  1. I disagree about Rob's basketball IQ. Low turnover numbers is not the same as high basketball IQ. He has always been passive and not stressed the defense. He rarely gets himself or the ball into positions that will break down the defense. Only taking what the defense gives you, and not being an aggressor, is a sign of low basketball IQ. He's like a QB who only throws check down passes. Maybe the basketball IQ is there but he lacks the confidence to make the necessary plays. Either way, there's always been something missing, and at this point I don't know if it's going to be fixed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I think people are overreacting to this as an "embarrassing" loss. Indiana should have won last night. The first half performance was terrible, and they needed to put it away when they went up 54-50. It's a bad loss because they put themselves in position to win and didn't close it out. But Northwestern is 5-1 with their lone loss by 1 point to what appears to be a solid Pittsburgh team. They just blew out Michigan State. We'll see how it goes the rest of the season, but Northwestern might be pretty good. That's not excusing the loss or saying that we should be happy with it. Indiana needs to be able to win those games. The guards need to show up. There are certainly big issues that need to be fixed. But I just don't think that losing to this Northwestern team is the end of the world like losing to a Northwestern team of 10 years ago would have been. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Phinisee not looking to shoot a 3 when he's got an opportunity... I don't understand him. He's pretty good when he's aggressive, but unfortunately that's almost never Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Does home court make a difference this year? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. What is this treatment? Does this just mean giving him free rein and letting him be the star of the program, or is there an implication of dirty recruiting? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. That is such a terrible charge call Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Just letting Butler dictate everything. Get the ball to TJD! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Offense has no purpose right now. Terrible last few minutes Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Good ball movement on the perimeter, but I don't understand how TJD doesn't get a touch every time down. He doesn't seem to be working too hard for touches either. I'm glad the guards are playing well, but I think everybody will be better if TJD gets going Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Feed TJD! At least get him a touch Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. There are a lot of things Al does well, but awareness with the ball is not one of them. Can't lose it there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Does Franklin's shot look different this year? Last year I felt like his shot looked good, just didn't go down consistently enough. This year it looks worse to me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Rob!! Don't see that explosiveness from him enough Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Feels like there should be some over the back calls that aren't being called Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. It's really hard to understand how we're still this bad at shooting. If just average at shooting, this team would be really good. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I thought the ref on that side screwed up both travel calls Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Race needs to wake up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Would be great if Race would box out on free throws Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Good win today. Texas is up 12 at halftime on North Carolina. Yesterday's loss was bad, but Texas might be a lot better than we realized. Good to see them bounce back and play tough after getting worked yesterday.
  20. Stanford lost by 4 to UNC. They're a pretty good team
  21. Right. He's obviously extremely skilled, so it sounds a lot easier than it is to take away his left hand. But I think I would completely overplay it and just live with whatever he makes going right. When he's playing like this, he's unstoppable if he gets it where he wants it.
  22. I'm not complaining, but I don't understand how teams let TJD get to his left shoulder so often. He has no right hand.
  23. That last one went right through Rob's hands
