    That I don’t know. He’s had a few different roles within the Warriors organization. I don’t even know if scouting would be part of the role of a college GM. I would think that responsibility would stay among the coaching staff.

    If you haven’t watched Drake, I suggest you do. Watch how hard they play defense and how all five guys go after boards every possession. That’s the type of guys he recruits. Weren’t we complaining all year about going after mercenaries every year?

    He did and it looked like it was. I get people's hesitation. For me I fall back on his almost 20 years of being a leader and producing at a high level. If we can hire a high major coach, I'd be pumped but I'm not counting on it and I just think he's the best option of our available pool.

    None of those guys even won their conference before getting big ten jobs. Those guys got jobs because of their connections as assistants to P5 coaches. The longest tenure as a head coach before they got their B1G job was Miles with 17 years and three conference wins in NAIA and D2 respectively. The second longest tenure was Groce with 4 years experience. They aren't comparable at all.

    I thought about mentioning him but he's already 65. Would be a great fit other than that I think.

    I'd like to see Malik finish his career here and I think he will. I'm still on the Tucker train because I think he can develop into a really really good player. Would love to have Goode back for another year. Rice, KC and Mbako will be surprises if they're here next year.
