I think they make assumptions for how the rest of the season goes for a team correct?  Anyone know what they assumed so that IU got a 6 seed?

Exactly. Says nothing about a players character to want to choose your situation after a coaching change versus waiting to see who is brought on and if they're even interested in having you around. Why would players do it immediately if Crean were to be fired tomorrow? Because they'd be eligible beginning of next season. Why wait until April, play under an interim coach until then, wait for new hire, get told you're not needed then have to sit for all of next season when you can get the process started now.

Your question is who would we be worried about leaving. Id be worried about everyone leaving and I could see a lot doing it sooner than later if they're coach gets fired.

Firing Crean tomorrow would mean essentially that we have no head coach until April and an interim until then. All 2015 recruits would be lost, likely all current players transferring and we'd have no face of the program to recruit 2016-17 guys. It would seem to me that going down this road puts a lot of risk on the program versus giving Crean the year and lining up the right coach next April. A year long interim situation is really really tough to recover from. Also anyone who thinks that Brad Stevens wants to come back and deal with college players is really out of touch.

It's nice that over the past few years we've been able to go up against big programs for recruits and compete versus going up against MAC schools for recruits. This is great news. We have a lot of momentum. Let's win some games this year to keep it going. I don't know about all of you but I really really want to finally beat Michigan this season. This thread has officially gone off the rails with these past few posts. Let's keep in mind the conclusion you guys made tonight is that Crean is a lame duck coach because of some Facebook posts made by AJ Guyton after he found out he will be inducted into IU Hall of Fame while Crean is coach. It truly is amazing the way some people construe things to push forward their opinion. People do realize Calbert took a different and better job at SLU than was available at IU right? I am excited to see what Sudfeld can do with a full season under center.  I will miss having Tre on roster as I think he could've been really really good this year and provided a great security blanket in case of injury but I personally feel like Sudfeld fits better with what Wilson wants to do offensively.  I hope Tre finds the right spot and excels.   This is just one of those situations where you wish you could trade in college sports.  Would love to have traded Tre for a quality defensive player.  

The game will more than likely be rained out but Manny Machado is being activated from the DL today.  The defensive maestro is back!   Let's Go O's!
