I'm an old school IU fan that was happy with old school basketball, and old school defense...   I wish Tom Crean the best...I hope he wins like hell for y'all... but my gut tells me he will never, ever succeed at IU...   I hope I'm wrong.

I get that...but in 2015, nobody wants Alford...nobody at IU, at least... let's get the man his due, as a player at IU and forget the rest...   dude is the leading 3 point shooter for a single season, and led IU to it's last NCAA Championship... as I've said earlier...who is going to do better at IU? it's been 28 years...   there is no need to drag his name through the mud.

Alford is an icon at IU...he deserves all the respect in the world... lest IU fans forget...he led IU to their last championship...   who will lead IU to their next?

Calbert Chaney was from Evansville (right on the Ohio River) Michael Lewis was from Jasper Brian Evans was from Terre Haute     from New Albany? nope, can't find any...but I think Purdue got a couple from New Albany over the years it that tells you anything.
