  1. and new replay technology coming to AH and MS. http://www.si.com/tech-media/2016/06/14/mark-cuban-nfl-nba-officiating-replay
  2. Eh there reaches a point where it's obnoxious. It's a typical size.
  3. It's official! $53 million, will start immediately following the Bucket Game and be finished August 2018. See my other thread for details. This is so great!
  4. More room on the north end. This is from last month. It's complete now with a transparent railing for better viewing.
  5. More of the clear railings are in. They also expanded the north ADA seating substantially. They're adjusting the setup of the bleachers. I'll try to find an overhead pic.
  6. May need to zoom in...things are starting to get cleaned up. The pic on the right shows the new stair well in the south lobby. Escalators will surround it. There will be two sets of this set up in that lobby. The north will still have ramps, but with new escalators too. The new elevator (a total of 3) is being installed as well.

  8. Construction crews have completed 14 months of work at the future site of Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall. Progress in May included East Corridor Terrazzo vitrification, completion of the north ADA slab, wood flooring replacement, and setting of the South Mechanical Room Air Handlers. Miscellaneous work still in process includes the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation, interior painting, Spirit of 76 Club concrete seating, acoustic cielings, and North Bleacher modifications. Also in progress is the high roofing, escalator pits, and the elevator. This month, they will be fireproofing the balcony level, re-installing the North Bleachers, continuing to vitrificate the Terazzo, and completing the concession renovations. The upcoming milestones for this project include completing the concourse restrooms by July, and the punch list in August. From iuhoosiers.com
  9. Looks weird with no seats. Can't wait to see the new scoreboard going up.
  10. Good to see Dane Fife, Jim Crews, and both Scott May Sr. and Jr. there. http://iuhoosiers.com/news/2016/6/14/mens-basketball-hosts-second-annual-golf-outing-and-reunion-for-former-players.aspx
  11. I love our run game. Redding is woefully under appreciated for how much he's improved, Majette is like a rocket (just hold on to the ball!), Enis intrigues me, and then guys like A Rod and Natee can move the pile (if you haven't, go watch his film now). And if Patrick comes back healthy... I'm excited for Tom Allen's defense. We were apparently much more aggressive in the spring and to be honest, I'm ok giving up big plays if we at least try something different instead of sitting in a base package every play and still giving up 600 yards. The pass rush will be key. I really like our depth at LB and DB. Jayme Thompson is a stud.
  12. Work will begin after this year's Bucket Game and be complete for the start of the 2018 season.
  13. And what's really exciting is that this is being paid for by donations. We will have even more TV $$$$ to maintain it with the new contract coming up.
  14. Haha I think that's there to stay.
  15. Highlights: Knothole Park will remain as part of the top level terrace...current restrooms will be renovated...new 40x70 SEZ video board, and 20x60 NEZ video board...new locker room and player's lounge...new PA system. Here is the full info (click to enlarge)...
  16. Interior photos. Note how much nicer the east hallway looks with new flooring and lighting... Edit: App isn't letting me post links. Go to the Photo Galleries Section at iuhoosiers.com. Click on "Fans" on the upper menu.
  17. Via Chronic Hoosier
  18. Haven't seen much in June.
  19. The Dean Dome does hold 20,000+. Of course Rupp does as well, but what else do they have to do down there?
  20. Yeah I mean we would have to build a new arena to finish any higher.
  21. I really like how all the graphics can move. We should be able to screw with our opponents!

  23. From 1997-2003, he was vice president for information technology. So I kind of doubt it.
  24. Oh I remember Herbert. But he seems to have to been referring to McRobbie which I found odd.
