  1. Wait...what is your problem with McRobbie? He's only been here since 07. He leaves the Athletics stuff to the AD but if he didn't care, we wouldn't be spending $170 million on facilities. He's the president of a major university...he doesn't need to be constantly involved with basketball; he's got other issues to deal with. Still, why would he want the basketball program to fail? What connection does he have to Mike Davis?
  2. I've already seen multiple Hoosier fans on Twitter begging for IU to hire him. Don't you just love the Internet?
  3. Think we're about done.
  4. You can really tell in looking at the field boundary. The blades were so thin last year that all the pellets were showing through.
  5. I could tell it was faded on tv, but didn't really notice at the stadium because I usually sit low. I went up high one game last year and OMG it looked awful.
  6. Here's a better comparison:

  8. Yeah that was a good point about the candy stripes...it would look odd compressed like that. I do like the script, but it looks good on the windows (and hopefully on the SEZ windows too) so I'm fine with the new font. It looks classy but not too plain, and really as long as the field is thicker and brighter it's all good.
  9. Since the ramps will remain in the north lobby, here is where one of the escalators will go...poor guy better get out of the way:

  11. Like what? They will power wash the stands. Other than that, I don't think they're going to replace all the bleachers with chair backs. Most college football stadiums have bleachers. And we're lucky that we actually have widely marked seats. Places like Michigan, they cram you in there like sardines.
  12. The NFL cares. His dad was taken into consideration. It also reflects poorly on Connor because he apparently was disliked by his teammates at MSU. Also, I'm getting pretty tired of people going off on offensive rants and then whining about PC culture. You have the right to say whatever you want, but people are allowed to fire back, and it may have consequences. The only thing the first amendment protects is the government coming after you for (reasonably) speaking your mind. I mean, look at these. If you're going to put this out there, people are allowed to respond. If you post on social media, don't whine about PC when people respond. You don't think this stuff catches the eyes of scouts?...

  14. Really good photo gallery from the IU site: http://iuhoosiers.com/galleries/
  15. Spirit of 76 Club, and note the removal of all the seats on the near side:
