Help me with these: 1) Does IU part ways with Woodson mid season to pursue a Devries? 2) If we are at the Devries level, don’t we wait to announce after tournament so we can potentially fully vet comparable candidates in tourney?? 3) If only 4 people know as previously claimed, any possibility the whale is Jay Wright and he announces real himself on CBS opening night tonight ?

Why do people keep using 4-5yrs with Pearl? Pitino kicking butt at 72 going on 73. Belicheck just hired in football at 73. Absent a health issue , Pearl could easily be a 7-10yr solution and put IU on very solid ground.

Pitino is 72 going on 73 and just beat McDermott to take commanding lead in Big East. I think Pearls timeline could be 7-10 years as well. Not saying best hire just think using his age and thinking he is only a 4-5 yr bridge isn’t necessarily accurate. And do believe IU would be in a GREAT position when he did walk away.

Don’t think we wouldn’t be acting the same way. What is sad is that their AD is going after top candidates and I am sure will land someone better than Mike Woodson. I wish our AD would try as hard ☹️ -
I no longer live in Indiana so haven’t seen much of Ind St until tonight. They are a fun team to watch. Great ball movement. Not just fun but winning as well. Never thought as IU fan I would be somewhat jealous of Ind St ☹️
