It's amazing that we suck so bad, but I guess it's not surprising. We have great talent, Final Four players, but we're terrible. The shortcoming is the coaching. There needs to be a change there. If we want to be successful, there needs to be a change. Look at two players from today, Josh Newkirk and James Blackmon. One is an out of state low ranked player, one is an in state McD's AA. Both of them have poor basketball iq's. Both of them had multiple plays today where they ran to the basket, jumped, then tried to decide what to do with the ball. Terrible basketball. This seems to be proof that it doesn't matter where a player is from or where he was ranked. What's the commonality? The coach seems to encourage this type of play. The coach needs to be replaced. Fire him. Fire him soon. Fire him midseason. He needs to go for us to improve.

I don't understand wanting to be like Purdoo. In 2014, they finished dead last in the conference. They have one ncaa win over the last 4 years. I understand Crean sucks, but Purdoo's model is not one to emulate FIRE HIM! This is embarrassing

We agree on the problem, we just disagree on the process. The players are great. I don't blame them at all. Our coaching, game planning, adjustments.....that's the terrible part. We have the players to make a Final 4 run. We just can't guide them there.
