Is Franklin even in the top 4? Stewart, Brooks, TJD, Newman, Gillis (PU) If we get Newman and Franklin then not sure how we could fit Stewart, Brooks and TJD. We pretty much take ourselves out of at least 1 of the top 3. Of course, it's not a given all 3 want to come to IU.

why does an offer from kansas (late to the party) mean he is likely going there to the crystal ballers? Has he said stuff in the past that makes people think he was just waiting for kansas to offer?

It wouldn't be the first time someone from Bloomington went without an offer. If neither have gotten offers yet then it would seem they aren't plan A.

Is he any relation to Chuck Person? Definitely a Person of interest.

Does PU follow us around recruiting? A player in Alabama with 2 of his handful of main offers being from IU and PU.

The only problem with that is that his commitment could help us with other recruits. Him waiting around to enjoy the process may put him with a weaker team if we lose out on other top recruits while he waits. Just food for thought. For example, lets say Romeo committed to IU back when we first hired Archie Miller instead of committing after most of the recruits had already decided. It's possible that could have swayed other, more highly ranked 2018 recruits to look our way. We ended up with a pretty strong class anyway thankfully.

We are the only school that was in both his old top 6 and now his new top 5.

he doesn't really fit the mold of dual-threat that Allen wants. Guess they would take that kind of talent regardless of fit.
