Same here. I’m content. Our nightmare is over, move on to a new coach and new chapter.

All names have been smokescreens so far. Indiana is hot on the trail of Pete Bell, and Happy Kuykendall is coming with him to set up the “Friends of the Program”. Mark it down, it’s a done deal. Time for some basketballs to get kicked up into the stands! Coaching camps will be held in Algiers.

Except that Indiana is the current Indiana and not the historical Indiana. IOW, Indiana is masterful at making nonsensical basketball coach hires.

Well, if we’re being objective here, we did just can a coach that had zero D1 experience, so there’s that.

Unless you’ve got the wrong BS. BS could well be the next coach under the Bozich scenario, but just not the BS everybody thinks. Veteran coach… looking for a new challenge… hmmmmm… That guy is indeed out there.

Today, Indiana Athletic Director Scott Dolson announced the hiring of the new coach of Indiana basketball. Despite all of the speculation, there was only one true candidate all long. Hoosier fans, meet your new coach, Bob Knight’s chair! After a one game interview against Purdue, it was decided that the chair would be given the job on a permanent basis, regardless of the @$$ that sits on it.

Yep. Told my wife the other day, love the Hoosiers but I don’t want a run, don’t want the B1G tourney, don’t want the NCAA tourney bid and don’t want an NIT invite. Just want this season done and over with as fast as possible so we can turn the page and move on. Anything else just delays the inevitable. Stick a fork in it and be done already so everybody can move on.

Because we have a JV coaching staff.

Plus hideous audio. They’ve got the crowd mic too loud and you can hardly hear the commentary.

If Woodson won’t just go after today, at least get the Mike Davis flu for the rest of the season and let someone else coach.

Dolson just needs to end this after the game today. Woodson has checked out and so has the crowd. Won’t be surprised for the building to be half empty after halftime.

What are your thoughts on this? Thinking he’ll fight going out the door even though it’s “decided”?

Woody is having his morning cigar along with his glass of prune juice.

Just as Indiana can't get past itself, so many here can't get past the top name on that list especially. The ship that never was has sailed. Must be an IU thing to love to just keep stirring the same stagnant water. Whatever it is, I'm way past over it. Time to get a fresh vision for what this program could/should be.
