  1. Cause you don't really win with bigs anymore. Last year was an outlier. Literally, it was in a bubble. Even then that had more to do with LeBron and AD being top 5/10ish players in the league. Its a perimeter dominated league, Unless you have an Embiid or Jokic I don't want my big being ball dominant. I'd rather have a guy who is a top ten defender, cab space the floor, and you don't need to dedicate a big part of the offense to them.
  2. Sick of this take on Myles. If you think he hasn't improved since then its a hot take, a bad hot take. Until this year he had improved his three point % every year. His defense has become elite. But yah, his development stagnated years ago.
  3. Lot to take in
  4. I could see guys like Doug, JHoliday. and Brogdon work with him. If Myles could get back to shooting the way he did 2/3 years ago him too, but his actual mechanics are too inconsistent. Basically just surround him by shooters and another guy who is adequate as a secondary ball handler/on ball creator. So yah not us rn
  5. Or once they make the pick. Its a dumb rule. I get why its there, but when there is an easy work around whats the point
  6. No. I don't really see Simmons and Domas being their best playing together. I think the first move needs to be breaking up Myles and Domas. Don't care who goes at this point, though I prefer Myles stay. But we've got enough evidence that we're better when they aren't together for extended periods,
  7. Best news of the offseason by a mile
  8. I really hope someone take Mitchell before us. Also orobably worth talking to a few teams abut their first this year
  9. Clifford is a nightmare hire. Guys teams never overachieve to their talent level. Made the playoffs once in 4 years in Charlotte and "improved" to 2/4 in Orlando. I can live with the other two. Clifford would have me begging for McMillian Worth mentioning that one of those playoff appearances in Orlando was when they went 33-40
  10. https://www.netsdaily.com/2021/6/20/22542066/short-form-on-whats-next-for-brooklyn-expect-a-lot-of-decisions#541572600 A Nets fan suggested this trade. It is legendary Pacers get Jordan and Alize Nets get Warren Just wow
  11. Ture. I posed this on a different site. I wonder if Embiid would be healthier and more well conditioned if he was like 15 pounds lights. I get he wouldn't be as strong, but look at the current league that isn't as big a deal as it used to be. And if these playoffs have shown anything its that your stars need to be able to go 40+ on a consistent basis in a series. Embiid might make it one game playing that much. But he is barely even kind of good in the second half of games where he plays 35
  12. Eh, I find it hard to believe the Hawks or 76ers can win it all.
  13. Presti is everything that the media made Ainge out to be
  14. Lol Philly. I turned the game off midway through the third. If they lose this series will the vast majority finally admit that the Process is a failure I wonder if other Philly fans hate that dumb people chant the Process af vames
  15. KD is probably the best player in the league
  16. NBA twitter in general is just hot takes. Some of the takes on there are mind melting. Saw one a week ago arguing that Drummond was the DPOY. The guy who couldn’t get off the bench for significant minutes when his team was getting run off the court was the DPOY, lol
  17. Guess its worth talking draft stuff; I love Bouknight. Dude fits the modern NBA so well
  18. So would I.
  19. They'll never go full rebuild. I'm fine with trading Brogdon, I prefer Caris. I want them to breal up Myles/Domas. I prefer Myles, but the fanbsse likes Domas too much. Also worth noting if they want to go the rebuild route Brian Shaw is almost 100% gonna get the HC job There is a lot of stuff about why Brogdon and Milwaukee parted ways. Obviously the financial stuff. But also there were a lot of people within the organization that wanted him on the court when he was 90-95%, and he didn't want to be out there unless he was 100%. I find it hard to believe that Milwaukee would ever take Bledsoe over Brogdon in a vaccum. Probably would have preserved some more assets if they still sought out the Jrue trade too.
  20. Yah. Its top 4 protected. So if they get lucky they'll get the pick, but as of rn GS is gonna get it. Washington is fine, Monk is fine, Bridges is fine. I mostly just want their first this year
  21. Apparebtly Minnesota and Charlotte both really want Turner. Don't want anything from Minnesota unless they get their first this year and they want to include that in a trade, Washington + 11 seems fair I suppose
  22. Basically the Ezeli thing went something like this. Given this is an abbreviated account of everything that happened: Exeli was injured for an extended period of time at one point. During this time Jackson decided to tell the other players to actively avoid interacting with Ezeli. At the same time he was telling other players that Ezeli did not like them. At the same time Jackson was telling Ezeli that the other players didn't want anything to do with him and didn't care for him. After a while Ezeli apparently approached the other players and they figured out what was going on. I know it sounds insane and the stupid **** you'd expect from kids. But its been verified by multiple players and personel within the organization that it actually happened
  23. Speaking of Jackson, you ever hear the story of how he treated Festus Ezeli? Its all kinds of f'd up and weird
  24. I've seen fans who want him. It'd be funny to go from a guy who had issues connecting with players and earning respect. To a guy who the last head coach job he had everyone hated him Also I think Jackson is mj d of a moron in general and basketball wise
