It's the worst when ever anyone brings up the Edwin Jackson deal. Jon Lester is better than Edwin, but it'd help if he really proved it. Castro does look he has an extra fire, and I think it's really making him a better player. Arrieta has also shown a lot of promise, and if Lester can play like he's getting paid 155 mill we'd have arguably the best 1-2 punch in the majors.

Starlin's playing great so far this season and Javy has not shown me any signs of a better plate approach. I say as long as Castro can keep it up and Russell stays on top of his game, the infield in place should be the infield of the future. Along with Soler Coghlan and Fowler for the rest of this season. Addison is batting +300 in the minors right now and we'll see how that can translate. Lester needs to step up too. If you're getting 155 mil over 6 years your ERA shouldnt be above 3.5

So they are very similar. I hope TB has a better post game than Payne did in college but I'd be happy with an Adreian Payne.

Great Comparison, but TB looks a little more like a bruiser down low. I don't know how tall Adreian is off the top of my head.

Just getting in there and working. dcoble9- just because someone can't beat everyone off the dribble and doesn't have the best handles mean that they are one dimensional. Juwan said he does the garbage plays., that no one else likes to do. This is like what Collin does but Collin can shoot 3's vey effectively. OG talked a lot about how he can shoot 3's but we haven't seen any of our recruits play a college game yet so we don't know how good they are.

Plus Hartman was a big role in our success when Hanner was gone. He does more on offend then "just shoot 3's" and played the hardest defense.

I don't know if you know this, but OG is the worst rated of our recruits. I know that doesn't mean much, but for people who have scouted him more than you have, they can see what he's like. He played High School ball in Missouri, that's a world a way from college ball in the Big Ten. There is no way an unproven, raw, freshman forward starts on this years team.

If we can't get Trendon I'll be pissed. Got a long way to go from here though

Who are we recruiting the hardest and expecting in our 2016 class to play alongside him if he were to stay 2 years? Would RoJo be the point?

So many times a dribbler would come into the lane and think he has a wide open layup but Hanner would come in and send it away. I think if he played the 4 where he could roam the paint, our defense would be a whole lot better, especially with TB right there to back him up.
