I still keep coming back to the one poster whose kid talked with Brads parents somewhere. IU was brought up and his dad said Brad could never do that to Butler! That cuts deep, also is why I’ve moved on from Brad. Would love to be surprised though!

Well, at Wisconsin and at Michigan St seem to always be brought up every year as a loss in everybody’s preseason predictions!

Can we just get a coach who can win more of the “didn’t think we had a chance” games and lose less of the “we should’ve beat them” games? Is that too much of an ask?

I appreciate your point of view on this and response. Do you think McDermott would be like late 90’s IU teams as a ceiling? I see him as early 90’s IU teams who competed for big ten titles and were threats in the dance. That is what I think he would do here. Not just make the tournament.

Give me McDermott! I will take 6-8 years of top 4-5 in the B1G to establish IU again! Get the program on a solid foundation and then get the long term guy!
