He never got a fair crack at the rotation at Duke. Hasn't played much. Typically the Duke transfers that never played much end of having decent careers elsewhere. I would take a flier on him, he can shoot. I want TJ Power at IU.

just 2 returning players in Tyrese Proctor and Caleb Foster. Pretty good recruiting class coming in and have crystal balls for Mason Gillis from Purdue and Maliq Brown from Syracuse. Will be interesting to see how the roster finalizes.

A Purdue win tonight would be great for the state of Indiana and even better for the brand that is Big Ten basketball. The state hasn’t had a winner in a long long time. Neither has the Big Ten. I also can’t stand Dan Hurleys antics. But… U-C-O-N-N UCONN UCONN UCONN!!! (also looking at a 400 payout if UConn wins)

I think that’s a 2 fold argument to be had. If he brings in players that will be here multiple years and has a foundation to build off of and makes a deep run sure I’m all for it. if he brings in a group of guys of which the majority of the roster will be gone after 1 season together and a deep run is made then I would be against it. He’s not going to get lucky resetting the roster every year.

Yep and will basically be starting over next year. Nice run, unless he brings in another crop of seniors it’ll be back to middle of the pack next year.

Keatts also unlocked a 2 year contract extension by winning the ACC tourney. Given the same scenario here this place would lose its mind.

I agree and am expecting more of the same next year just new pieces in the same spots. Bubble team with a chance to get in. No shot at a serious tourney run. We will be having the same discussions.

Bringing in guys that can shoot the 3 can solve a lot of problems. The problem is running this offense with no shooters and chasing a game with 2s while the other teams are double and triple the 3s you are. It will lead to the amount of double digit losses that piled up this year.

I don''t forsee Roach coming back next year at all. He does have his covid year or grad years but really see him going to the G league or oversees. As far as Power goes, he is actually one I don't want to see transfer from Duke but if he does, its going to be a big get for the program that picks him up. Think he has high potential.

Burns is just one of those guys everyone falls in love with. I hope he takes Foul Ming to the woodshed.

I don't either. But if the roster shapes up to where he is in a 6th man role, they could be on to something.

Probably why they were paid to make sure they stay so there wont be even more schollys not filled when the disappointment hits.
