    no he won't. Even if he doesn't play he isn't taking anyone's spot, the 13th scholarship player hardly ever plays. He is ALL IU and is by all accounts a great rep of the university. Not sure what else you would want from an end of bench player who actually can help in some situations

    one thing this confirms for me (as much as it can be) is that it was just Fife who Woody wasn't listening to, or at least it was only Dane who had an issue with it. Seems that the rest of the staff was vibing and it wasn't Woody going rogue all year with his old buddies.

    I am fine with that. Just hope his role is reduced and younger guys get the nod. But it can't hurt having him come off the bench because he plays so hard every time out. Plus don't have to worry about him playing with Stewart anymore

    This is a tough one but it was for the best. I thought he was gonna be big time after the first two months of his career. Seems like such a great person and hope him success in whatever he chooses to do. Will always be a fan even though it didn't work out here.

    I know some will say I am just excusing him leaving, but I have never been high on Duncomb. Not really a fan of below the rim players who are awkward and lack strength. Just never saw him as a big ten player and couldn't believe he was ranked as high as he was watching his tapes. I'm sure i'll be wrong though and he will be a superstar wherever he goes

    As crazy as it sounds I am inclined to agree. Loved Fife as a player but all the podcasts I have listened to where players talk about playing with Fife talk about how much of an idiot he was.

    problem is he thought he was. In hindsight it was a bad move to force the head coach to hire an assistant coach who essentially "applied" to be the head coach.
