  2. Really wouldn't mind seeing Cam Cameron back in the fold. Major Applewhite? David Yost?
  3. Hated to miss this- had to take the family to see Aquaman (believe me, much rather see this game). Very glad to pull out a win on the road in B1G!! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

  5. Thanks to all for your insight, and thanks to Joe for your special brand of constant pessimism
  6. Not worried about red or blue, only Cream & Crimson (note: the previous statement was neither for nor against anything red or blue oriented, political or otherwise (except UK) simply the result of a 47 year old think it's funny to make dad jokes)
  7. What's everyone's take on Wommack? I truly don't know enough about the coaches to form an opinion
  8. I'm thrilled that 3 buses are at capacity so far!
  9. On January 20th, the Hoosiers are traveling to West Lafayette to take on Purdue. IU is offering tickets for the game. Tickets cost $20 and include transportation to and from the game. They are taking three buses and they are currently filled to capacity. I called the ticket office and if we get enough interest, they may take a fourth bus. If you are interested in going, please call the ticket office, 1-866-iusports and leave your name and number. (taken from Indiana University Women's Basketball Fans Group)
  10. Since my daughter is going to UIndy next year, most of my gear was of the Greyhounds variety (I know, I know, but IU doesn’t offer what she wants). But, I did get tickets for IU vs Purdue. First time I’ve seen any IU team vs Purdue. Also got a package to take family/parents to WBB vs Purdue [emoji846] Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  11. Unfortunately, I will be M.I.A. for this one- gotta finish (ok, gotta start) shopping for my wife, lol.
  12. I've been trying to figure out a way to post on the loss without sounding too much like a sunshine pumper (which I am, but...). Most teams, men and women, face a loss that they shouldn't. CTM has recruited, coached and trained this team to play very well. This loss was a head scratcher, but to be 10-0 is something I'm proud of, and anyone who is a fan of the team should be also. This, I believe, is a wake up moment, a catalyst to teach the team. Weird circumstances- long layoff, Gulbe injured then coming back, and two players injured yesterday all contribute to this L. Am I happy? Obviously, no. But, to doubt CTM at this point (I'll be the first to admit I had my doubts 2 seasons ago) is kinda crazy. If you look at our history as a program, yes, it's hard to make the NCAA tournament- we've been a perennial cellar dweller. It's not silly at all to celebrate the WNIT, as it's a heck of an accomplishment for our program. We've never had recruiting like we have now, we've never had a team like we have had last year and this year. One loss is not a reason to dog this team. The majority of fans, in this thread and in the stands, believe in this team, and understand the program.
  13. I thought the FB stream was pretty decent- will miss most of today's game. The amount of fans there was pathetic- seriously looked to be less than 50! At one point, the ball went into the stands behind a basket, and it took a minute for an official to get it since there were no fans in the area. I counted at least 14 sections with nobody in it. Gym has capacity of 5500. Hoping today brings a better crowd!
  14. IU 87 Jacksonville 60 Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  15. The suspense is killing me.....
  16. Now at 100% CB for Williams, lol. Bud Elliot switched from Foggy to IU 2 minutes before scheduled announcement, ha!
  17. Didn't think about Merrillville being on CST! Guess I can try to get some work done now, lol
  18. Looks like Arizona, Purdue, UK, IU, Cincinnati
  19. Nope :) Sampson James and Beau Robbins. This is goooooooood
  20. 2 of the top 6 all time highest rated recruits in this signing class
  21. I didn't know if we'd be able to include him once his eligibility for next season is determined. Regardless, this is a heck of a signing class for IU when looking at the overall mix of kids. The long snapper Sean Wracher should be rated higher than he is- been reading up on him (that was my dad's position in college, kinda intrigues me)- sounds like he's very skilled. I've seen posts mentioning that long snappers are not as highly rated in general
  22. Cam Williams announcing in 18 minutes....
  23. I'm not overly familiar with the class rankings- will Tuttle be included in our ranking?
