Guys, don't get your hopes up. I don't believe for one minute the NCAA has the onions to hit a major program like Syracuse. Nothing has come of the UNC mess, UK continues its crimes against humanity, and nothing will come of this I fear. How about going on a twitter rant about that if you hate the NCAA so much, @jaybilas instead of your usual redundant blather. (sorry I had to throw that in. He is a great analyst but I had to quit following him on twitter)

I have now felt doubtful, hopeful, doubtful again, and creeped out all in the course of this one thread.  Bravo, Btown Banners, bravo.  

I'm just thinking out loud here, and I know this would never happen in a million years, BUT hypothetically what if CTC told him that if he really wants to be at IU he has to prove it by paying his own way and staying out of trouble until a scholly becomes available even if that is beyond next season. IF he came under those conditions it might help keep him focused and in line.  Under this scenario, we get Lyle and not mess up next year's scholly numbers.     Look, I know this will never happen so there is no need for 1,000 people telling me how stupid this is or it will never happen.  I'm just thinking out loud and having some fun speculating on IU basketball stuff on my vacation.  

Other than possibly adding a quality big, on to the '16 class.

So between Diamont and the Stevens kid coming, which one is the future?  If it's Stevens, get Diamont ready while the season still has something to salvage.  Heck, get kid Cameron ready if need be.     I'm sure that the young Mr. Covington is a fine young man and a credit to Indiana University, but I don't see us having a lot of success with him.

Which of the following does this say about what ESPN thinks of IU?   A.  IU makes the needle move, so book them.   B.  IU won't suck in 2016, so book them.  C.  Both A and B, so book them.  

This Pacers team interests me.  Obviously they are not going to be as good, but I think the chemistry might be better.  I have a feeling they will be more fun to watch this year than they were the last half of last year.

Didn't Morgan reschedule, or am I remembering wrong?  If he cancelled without rescheduling, I'd be worried.  Let's just let this play out.

If we take a three man class, I'd lean toward Morgan, Shake, and Bryant.  I'd love to land a quality C.  Whether it would be Bryant or someone else, a good C puts me over the moon even if it's just that C and Morgan.  

Just for discussion's sake, what if he does 2/3 of that?  Again, emphasis on if.  

I thought we'd be 2-1 at this point, but not in the way we are.     Anyone else thinking about what could have been if we beat BGSU?   Oh well, that's in the past.  Great win.
