So, is the hiring of an agent the same as hiring an agent for entering the draft? Can TJD hire an agent to test the waters, then keep that agent, if he decides to return to school?

My apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere, but are these kids getting accountants to help them with the taxes owed on these NIL deals?

No one said the government was paying for it. Just pointing out how completely out of hand this is. I'm all for people getting paid for their services, but this is turning into somewhere between the G league, and the NBA. The NCAA should have put some parameters in place, before this turned into a free for all. The government and the NCAA are both incompetent.

People can't afford to put gas in their tanks, or food on their table, but we're paying kids hundreds of thousands of dollars, to play as "amateurs"!

Thank goodness we have the staff and AD support, to navigate through this mess. I believe CMW has the ability/experience to balance the NIL/PFP and the name on the front of the jersey. Having a veteran NBA coach is a huge advantage dealing with these issues. Very rare to see multi million dollar professional athletes, giving a heartfelt farewell to a coach, without a HOF resume. Love or hate his X's and O's, this man is the right guy, at the right time.

Every piece of advise/feedback he needs to hear, is in his coaches office. I believe you're right, they wouldn't be blindsided by his decision. I could also see 1-2 million reasons for him to stay.

While we're talking about player development, Race may have ranked in the top 3 or 4 on the team, in leading the break . lol

I believe the scouting report caught up with him towards the end of the season. The driving lanes weren't as wide, which caused his increase in turnovers.

Hell, Woody even ran a few end of shot/game clock iso's and pnr's for Galloway.
