Capped by a no-hitter from freshman Emily Goodin against UAB, Indiana Softball swept the first day of the Samford/UAB Tournament, collecting a pair of victories. The Hoosiers defeated Iowa State, 4-1, before the nightcap shutout against the Blazers, 7-0. Goodin's no-hitter was the first for Indiana since current sophomore Tara Trainer tossed one against Evansville on March 12, 2016.
