  13. Bree Boles hasn't attended a day of high school, but already knows where she plans to attend college. Boles, a 6-3 eighth-grader from Frankton, committed to the Indiana women's basketball program during an unofficial visit to the school on Thursday evening. "That's where I plan to be," Boles said. "I will go to IU." Boles, who had offers from Evansville and Wake Forest, was offered a scholarship from Indiana coach Curt Miller during her visit on Thursday. She talked it over with her parents "for about 10 minutes" and told Miller she was ready to commit. "They were super excited," Boles said of the Indiana staff. "I received a bunch of hugs and congratulations. They told me I was part of the Hoosier family. I didn't really plan to commit, but we felt like it was the best place for me." Boles said Miller likes her versatility as a player. "He said they think I have a bunch of potential," Boles said. Miller, who can't comment on recruits until they sign a letter of intent, tweeted this on Thursday night: "There are moments when the least you can do is buy your staff dinner and say thanks. Tonight the dinner is to say congrats! #GreatHoosierDay http://www.indystar.com/story/sports/college/indiana/2014/05/16/eighth-grader-bree-boles-commits-iu-women/9171769/

  16. http://247sports.com/Bolt/Indianapolis-OT-Wants-Michigan-Offer-28659054   Noblesville (Ind.) High offensive tackle Brandon Knight has been telling 247Sports for months he'd like a Michigan offer. On Thursday, Wolverines assistant coach Curt Mallory stopped in to see him at school. An offer from the Wolverines would shoot Michigan to the top. "I want to visit," Knight said.    Originally planning to decide this week between offers from Indiana, Miami and Purdue, a June decision is now more likely.

  18. Just came across this from a few days ago. Adam has been moved to OG.   http://www.thefalcoholic.com/2014/5/13/5714202/adam-replogle-switched-to-offensive-line   I'm not going to lie: I love this move, both for Replogle and the Falcons. The 2013 undrafted free agent impressed the team with his strength but wound up on the practice squad throughout most of the season. When the draft dust settled, the Falcons suddenly had a plethora of defensive tackles and 3-4 defensive ends, leaving Replogle anything but certain to stick on the final roster.   That strength remains intriguing, however, and the Falcons are going to attempt to take advantage of it in a different capacity. At 6'3" and 294, Replogle could add ten pounds and use that strength to good effect as a guard. The Falcons, you'll recall, are not as deep behind starters Justin Blalock and Jon Asamoah as they are at other positions on the line, with only Harland Gunn and whoever survives the tackle fallout between Mike Johnson and Gabe Carimi. If Replogle can take to the position, he'd be an interesting long-term option as a backup.   This isn't a move that is particularly likely to bear fruit—Replogle has just months to warm up to the position change—but it's a creative solution to a logjam, and it's one I sincerely hope works out.
