4. I was sitting right next to this guy....    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIjeUZY19dY   Then we stormed out to Kirkwood and watched (i.e. participated) in all the craziness.  Then I drank more... and more... and blacked out.
5. Agree... But if IU keeps winning they will keep going. Normally them finding tailgates happens the same time as IU losing lol
6. Students will PACK the place. Will be a very high turnout with family of freshman coming down & damn near all freshman going to the game. Give credit where it is due- Glass & Wilson have sold a crap load of student tickets to freshman the last couple years. Now we just gotta win so they stay in.
7. Random. Hoosiers will wear the Block I helmet Saturday.

9. Lightning sign two former Big Ten players August 27, 2014 (LONDON, Ontario) -- The London Lightning have added two exciting players to this year’s roster – guards D.J. Byrd and Roderick Wilmont. Profile/Stats D.J. Byrd played at Purdue University in The Big Ten Conference, earning recognition as The Big Ten Sixth Man of the year in his junior year. In his senior year, he played in all 34 games, starting 33 times and averaged career highs of 10.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists in 30 minutes of play. He finished his career ranked sixth in program history in three-point shots and tenth in games played. He ranked third in the Big Ten in three-point shots per game and 13th in three-point field goal percentage in overall games, which earned him an Honorable mention All-Big Ten. “D.J. is not just an exceptional shooter, he is also a high IQ, all around basketball player that is going to quickly become a fan favourite in London,” said General Manager Taylor Brown. Byrd played last season in the German Pro-A League where he averaged 13 points and three rebounds in 25 minutes of play and shot 40 percent from the three and 90 percent from the free throw line. “I am very excited about signing with the Lightning and looking forward to the opportunity to work with Coach Knox,” said Byrd. “He has developed a lot of great players and has a passion for winning.” Roderick Wilmont is another former Big Ten player who played at the prestigious University of Indiana. As a senior, Wilmont started every game for the Hoosiers and was the team’s second leading scorer and rebounder at 13 points per game and six rebounds per game, respectively. Wilmont had several NBA workouts and ended up playing in the NBA D-League with former Lightning star, Marvin Phillips. During his time in the NBA D-League, he averaged 13 points per game, leading the Fort Wayne Mad Ants in scoring. Wilmont has played in Italy, France and Sweden the past three seasons. “Roderick is obviously a very talented and experienced shooting guard and we are very lucky to have him in a Lightning uniform,” said Brown. “Rod has a great relationship with Coach Knox which was definitely the deciding factor in joining our team. We are excited to see what Rod can do this season.” http://lightningbasketball.ca/p/14539/nr/100161/lightning-sign-two-former-big-ten-players
10. Bummer.
11. I'll have to look into that. See if there is a big need for it. You can download the tapatalk App and find our forum on there for easy mobile viewing.
12. Just submitted the updated app to Apple so give it a week or so and then ALL of our problems are going to be done! Sweet new app
13. So happy for CWat!
14. I'm just mad Cody can't be my sleeper pick now. He's on everyone's radar since Manning is throwing the ball!
15.
Cody with his first TD last night. http://www.denverbroncos.com/multimedia/videos/Osweiler_to_Latimer_for_33yard_TD/7ac7cc81-99b8-40e4-bfa4-bf543d0c50aa
I wonder what Peyton Mannings impact has been for new players that come in and kill it because of him. Talk about the perfect situation to walk in to as a rookie WR!
16. I'm with CCG on this one...
17. Not to downplay whatever is wrong with Coach, but hopefully it is something the girls can fight for and help bond them together to reach their goals this upcoming season. There is a reason that 2007 Insight Bowl was made and so special for the football team. They came together and pushed each other and were united by Coach Hep. This will sound horrible, but hopefully it is something the girls and come together about and not an internal issue that can divide them over time. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
18. I checked into this a little bit and stopped after a resounding reply of "sick". I honestly don't know what to think. If he is sick, I'd think he would take a leave of absence like Chuck Pagano did instead of quitting. Unless it is 100% terminal and there is no way he could coach again. Usually when a coach is sick you hear rumblings before things are announced a la Coach Hep. This came 100% out of the blue and surprised everyone. I wouldn't be surprised of something happened internally. We'll know soon enough as the IU community rallies around sickness and starts charities etc to help cover the medical costs. Coach hep, Strength coach etc. I'll know the answer based on how other IU coaches & players react Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
19. Realistically at this point in the year an assistant will probably be interim all year right? Would think hiring now would be really tough Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
20. I'm under the assumption his coaching career is on hold while he handles some personal life battles. Tough tough blow for the women's team, he had them grooving. Tough blow for IU too after T. smith now Curt.... Someone buy me a drink... Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
21. Ouch... Doesn't sound like Cody at all... Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
22. Good for him. I thought Indiana State was going to be a serious contender for him. Thank god he didn't go there... Come into Btown on day 1 and whoop us lol
