    I’m really surprised Lewis isn’t following Miller to Texas unless there’s a specific assistant he wants to follow. Also wasn’t Achoki Jayden Stone’s coach at Sunrise? Weird stone wouldn’t come to IU too

    Yep agreed! My ideal staff is a head coach who can teach, an assistant who is an X’s and O’s guy, an assistant who is an elite recruiter, and then other coaches who fill other voids but I think you need those things to be at the front of what you want from an assistant.

    I’ll be honest if we truly are getting the Texas tech coach I wish we would push hard and overpay for that freshman from Texas Tech. Not sure if he’s a shooting guard or point guard but if he’s a point guard I’d want him over pack without second thoughts

    You can’t use rice and Carlyle in your examples when 1. They didn’t care and 2. Woodson was there coach who did zero to put them in a spot to succeed/develop them. Also DeVries has already proven he knows how to get Enright to be at his best.

    So it would be Adams, the Texas tech guy, Clark/murphy, then Norton would be 4th assistant, and Sturtz the 5th coach?

    When looking to these transfers from mid majors I always look at what they do vs. high major programs. He played 2 this year: Gonzaga - he had 9 pts 4 rebounds 2 assists - 24 minutes played Arizona - he had 19 pts 5 rebounds 3 assists - 29 minutes played

    Exactly! If I’m the coach I’m absolutely making sure my kid gets money for fair market value but not more
