It’s amazing in the confidence that the highly touted recruits will actually show up when it’s time. It’s not the old days. It is not a given. Nor is it a given anyone worth keeping will stay another season.

That Miami home game as a 1 seed was TERRIBLE. Since then it has been downhill. They choked with a huge lead to Ohio state in the big ten just prior to it. It’s time for a change. I’m sorry, but whose fault is it that they are dead last in the big ten and winless? Can anyone honestly say the coaching and team building has been outstanding the last couple of years? Who’s to blame for the mass exodus? I think it would be very difficult to go from first to last in 4 years or so, you’d have to about try to do it. Watching the games, the level of play is atrocious. She hasn’t figured out a press in 10 years. It’s time to move on. She doesn’t like nil. How many times have you heard “I only want a certain kind of player to be here” well it doesn’t work anymore. And then there’s the classic help is on the way. I love Mike Davis, and that didn’t work out then either. But in today’s world a committ doesn’t matter. After this disaster of a season I’ll be shocked if any of the recruits actually show up. Party is over. Assembly hall wants to be rocking.

I would think that their goal would to be winners in every sport. Indiana has the largest alumni base in the country, with many very wealthy people. I don’t buy that money isn’t there to be used. If the university makes a coaching change I highly doubt an assistant would be the choice. You don’t promote an assistant from a team that’s last in the league if you’re serious about winning

She plays as a freshman as they get drummed by double figures she’s got a lot of work to do also

I’m sorry but if you don’t watch. Most of makalusky points are either on a long rebound while she’s standing on the 3 point line or a pass while she is standing there. It’s about all she does. Maybe that’s coaching I don’t know exactly but she is not a play maker and doesn’t create offense

I don’t think you’re wrong on that either. The board likes makalusky because she’s an Indiana girl, caffey has a lot more upside. Mak stands at the wing and gets a few open 3s, gets torched defensively and that’s about it. Caffey will be able to play this level needs help

Bargesser had her an ugly looking shot but always did contribute. Defensively was fierce, and could make some plays. One of her best games was when we beat Caitlin Clark’s highly ranked games at home. With this roster she’d never seen the bench.

Before our game started I was watching espn and they had Kansas on. They are 3-6 in conference, have a winning record I think 13-8. Meister was playing all the minutes. She wasn’t outstanding but would be a star on this squad.

I’d agree with that. And lemondola and sharneece and Bargessar are excelling.. smaller programs but if we had half of their contributions it would be better than none

Coach moren created a program, but the game has moved faster than she has. The cycle of an empty hall, to full back, to empty is complete. The elite 8 team was fantastic, the next year team was better, killed by UConn. The number 1 seed team got beat at home by Miami, which never happens in the women tournaments. Last couple years they gave a good second half effort against a powerhouse South Carolina. This year’s team won’t make the big ten tournament. It won’t be popular, but if the team performs people support it. Now it looks like middle school ball

Northwestern has a couple big ten wins. Have gave us trouble when we’ve had good teams

There’s been a lot of opportunities the last couple years for a T as women’s officiating is horrible… sigh she never does. The only T I remember over my last 5 or so years of watching all these was Sara Scalia against Iowa

Lemondola always looked scared to death, deer in headlights, a few small moments. Bargesser could not have a defender within 20 foot and stand and look to pass. They both are having positive seasons and having fun.you’re forgetting about sharneece jelks she is lighting it up. She’s projected to get drafted in 2027 to the wnba. I agree with you. Could have been much better. People made a fire devries thread and I felt that that’s premature. But a fire moren thread is much over due

She does give more than Odessa. But Odessa is a “4” moren refuses to let her try to play the 4. She plays makalusky at the 4 who’s only attribute is to stand on the corner and hope to get an open kick out, play 2 of the bigger girls, Odessa is capable of mid range jumpers and deeper, try something new you’re 0-9

Mackenzie Holmes, grace Berger, must have been the best players to ever live. Ray Charles would do a better job coaching than this
