Not much interest here in the game. Good and bad. This season will not be a good one, once they start playing real teams. I was happy moren finally played some of the players that just sit the bench extended minutes. Jerni has had solid moments. Jade actually looked the part and I’m a bit confused why she doesn’t play more. Phoenix made some plays and buckets. Beaumont terrible first half got hot 2nd half. Shay is unreal I guarantee she is pissed she didn’t transfer. She’s one of the best players in the country. Maya contributed nothing, slow gangly and ill looking shot form, not much of an athlete. Wasn’t afraid to keep bricking threes. She is From an area of the rich, and that Rich high school plays a bunch of nobodies but pads stats.

Size is one thing you can’t teach, for sure

I agree and it isn’t even close. Sharneece is having a good season at a smaller school, and had good years prior to IU. I know during her first year here she had a baby, but would imagine she’d be a solid contributor this season.

phoenix stotijn Having her best game. Shay is just really really good. Jerni and jade have made an impact. Caffey has had a few moments. Nobody here will like it, but maya is very overrated. Not very good at this level. And gee whiz the men and women both have really gone bottom of the barrel with some of the scheduling of these non conference games

To me Shay looks like about the only one that is a basketball player. Big ten season will be painful. Maybe Z can come back and help. Was hoping neveah would be solid but I think Jerni is better. Maya takes passes off the face and makes an occasional wide open 3 in a painful looking shot. Phoenix hasn’t made a shot all year it don’t seem like.

Agree with that you can’t teach size and athletics.

Jerni needs to start and get more minutes.

She literally looks to be the only one who knows how to play basketball or have talent on this team. How we were just a few short years of being #1 in the country and in the conversation to this is embarrassing. Jobs should be lost at this failure

They beat up on a high school team and maya got to shoot a bunch of wide open threes. They are going to be killed against big ten teams just like Illinois. This year is gonna get ugly

I would love Indiana women’s basketball to be like it used to be, had a lot of good years of Holmes, Parrish, Scalia, Moore McNeil, this year is not it and next year worse. If they win 5 games in the big ten will be a huge surprise

Hard to watch, as many have been. You have to wonder if Shay regrets not hitting the portal. Outside of her it’s very bleak.

Agree isn’t very good, will take a very long time to be an impact player if she doesn’t transfer to a smaller program first.

Always fun excuse, I was a student once. You’re always on break.

It’s unfortunate but a lot of the men’s and women’s games and other stuff the students are pretty worthless at showing up and essentially get in for free at all of it

I don’t really see the benefit of scheduling teams that are so bad that they can sleep walk to a victory. I would say the Milwaukee and Marquette games are far more indicative than late November exhibitions against teams we haven’t heard of
