The guy that pisses me off the most is Herbstreit! I really cannot stand that guy, the way he makes all of those stupid faces when he is listening to Al Michaels to give the impression he really gives a **** what Al is saying! Pompous know it all...I still say Notre Dame is a lot better than people give them credit for, I'm no fan and usually root against them, but I wouldn't be too upset if they won it all! One last thing while I am venting, that 98 yard run was a fluke play, ND did not run all over us, you take that play, that one long pass down to about the 2 yard line, and the FG at the end of the first half that they should never have gotten because grounding should have been called....that's 17 points. We stunk the place up, it happens, but we deserved our shot, we earned it!

I wouldn't be surprised if Notre Dame clobbers Georgia....if Notre Dame doesn't lose to Northern Illinois they would be #2, maybe even #1. They have a great defense and a ball control offense that gives that defense plenty of rest. They are going to be a tough out!

2 out of the 3 losing teams today got dominated just as bad or worse than IU, it happens in big games all the time, it happened to Ohio State not long ago. These paid off shill sports reporters need to STFU about teams not belonging. IU earned their berth as much as any other team there!

We shall see how this all plays out, after having the night to sleep on this one, the one thing that came to my mind was....if Notre Dame doesn't lose that game to Northern Illinois, they are the #2 team in the country. We played like crap last night but maybe Notre Dame is just that good? Still very surprised with all that time to prepare, we didn't have a better offensive game plan, it will be interesting to see how Georgia attacks their defense, I bet they learned a ton last night!

What worries me is his old coach is now the OC at UCLA....and UCLA wants him.

I loved this season, I love our coach and our players. I never thought we recovered completely from Evans injury and I never thought Kurtis was quite the same after the thumb injury, but what a run! Thanks to all the IU football players and coaches for all the hard work and a great season!

I agree with all of that, especially the kickoff right before the end of the first half, even if you fumble it the half is over, why not try to break it? I also thought that we should have used tempo more, I realize ND was playing soft at the end, but I still think it would have worked earlier in the game. I mean if we don't give up that 98 yard run, which was really the only long run they had all night, this is a 3 point loss!

I am avoiding Twitter (X) for a few days, but I know there has to be a Meme with a picture of Cignetti with the score to the game in large font, and coach Cig saying, "I lose, Goggle me!" I still love the guy, I don't want him to change, and I am confident he will reload, IU football is in good hands!

Even if we don't make the Playoff again, I feel like as long as we have Cignetti we will be competitive and be Bowl eligible most every year. We have a lot to look forward. We may not get back in the playoffs for awhile but we can still have great seasons!
