If I had the means I would gladly pay tuition for my kid and let the scholarship go to someone else if it meant IU could field a legitimate contender. That being said, I don't have the means and my kid plays with Barbies.

They will run a 4-out 1-in offense, which is the opposite of the 4-in 1-out scheme that Archie ran.

Mike Woodson and His Coaching Staff
TwatShot replied to Hoosierfan1901's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
My source tells me that Tim Priller is close to a deal to become IU'S strength and conditioning coach. P.S. my source is so drunk he says he keeps seeing Rob Phinisee in those State Farm commercials. "Jake is Rob. Rob is Jake." He keeps saying. -
She's vocal but she shies away from contact. And she refuses to box out (even if I spent money on a nice dinner and front row seats at the opera).

My wife just asked if she can enter the transfer portal... Not sure what to make of that.

Jerome Hunter when asked about the Woody hire.... (Sound of bubbles/a deep inhale/and then coughing) "Ha ha...you said 'woody'...." -

The more I digest this the more I like it. I like the idea of Matta, who killed it recruiting in the state, heading recruiting efforts or at least being a conduit for Woody to his recruiting contacts in the state. I like Woody's ties to the NBA, which is also a good selling point to recruits. Not sure about his X's and O's ability but we will find out. If we can get Lewis as Associate HC, this is looking really nice. The ceiling for this is quite high IMO. -
Historically, guys with phallic-like names have worked out ok. Woody Hayes Woody Austin Boner from "Growing Pains"... Alright, maybe not him....

Steve Alford announcing he's not going to IU is like when during morning announcements I said I wasn't going to prom with the head cheerleader. As the principal, I shouldn't have done that.

Can't stop. Won't stop. BradStop. J/k. Brad aint coming. It's Beilein ladies. -
Reggie Theus, who coached Deering High isn't getting the consideration he deserves.

Candidate Thread: Scott Drew (Baylor)

Saw Scott Drew at a Mexican restaurant in Indy one time. He kept demanding to see the employee's papers. Not sure what that was all about. -
Oregon +2 is easy money.

Candidate Thread: Brad Stevens (Boston Celtics)
TwatShot replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Just so people are clear, the Celtics will be in the playoff hunt for the foreseeable future. Remember the top 10 seeds essentially make the playoffs now. So this delusional hope that the Celtics are all of sudden be a lost cause is kind of ridiculous. -
Long time lurker first time poster. I've been reading these posts since AM was canned and the delusion is rampant. Here is my take: Dolson has Beilein lined up as a plan b. The donors were fine with Beilein and that's why they were willing to pay the buyout. But they still encouraged SD to go after bigger targets (BS, Muss, Scott "Build The Wall" Drew). BS is a no. We are now just waiting for Muss and Drew to get back to us. We gave them the courtesy of finishing their respective tourney runs to give us an answer. At best it's Muss or Drew. At worst it's Beilein. My sources: Logic and reason.
