So many big stories on this team. It is crazy. They way the compete for each other and how tight they are is amazing. Just need one more to finish the story. I am starting to get the nervous feeling again like all the other big games. What a ride it has been so far.

I don't remember the 75 & 76 seasons, but I do remember the 81 & 87 Championship. I remember where I was for both and what the feeling was like. I remember my mom maid a cake for the 87 game with all the players names on it. We didn't touch it until the final horn blew. I remember going out that evening (Yes very late) to see who was celebrating. It had snowed that day and I was thinking man I hope we still have school the next day because I wanted to see all my friends and talk about it. Older now but the feeling with the football team is similar for me with my kids and grandkids now. I have watched the games with my son, and he makes sure to let his boy see what is going on. He is very young right now and his attention drifts during the games, but my hope is he can remember these days when he gets older. I wish we could get our basketball team on track but man this football team sure has grabbed my attention the last two years. I will say we have always watched and went to see games, but it just feels different now.

Yeah, it just looks cheap. I can't say I have seen any other teams with stickers that come off like that.

That's what I think of when I see them like that. Looks like some students just stuck them on before the game.

I saw that as well. The man has a routine and a process and sticks to it. LOL

I have a question about our helmets. It has bothered me all year, but they seem cheap. Every game the IU lettering on one or more of the players is peeling off. I don't notice this on other teams. Why is this and should they be painted on? Never noticed this in years past.
