Knightstown class of 89 I played in the Hoosier gym a lot and never understood the fascination with it. It was an older cold gym that was not even an regulation sized high school court. I think I might own the record for the most 3's made in a game in that gym with 11 in a church league game.

I know it was form Hoosiers and have lived in Indiana all 50 years of my life. Actually I went to high school in the town that was Hickories home court. I practiced in the Hoosier gym before it became famous.

I played 18 years in a good church league

Finally got a good game today with UM and LSU LSU 60 UM 58

So Norman Dale is our next coach with shooter being an assistant

Maybe according to you and the fans but again we have no idea the direction Scot wants to go. I can see how going with an IU guy would be the right thing to do because what we have done the last 20 years has not worked. This is how I look at coaches today and that the younger coaches are just not that great. After the elite older coaches we pretty much have the same coach and that is not good. There might be a few but they all seem to play the same style and their is little originality in their games. I know RMK was not an IU guy but he did build the winning culture at IU and that culture has worked better than any other era we have had. We have seen what has worked at IU and what hasn't worked so why not try to go back to what worked in the past. For Bennett I don't see any chance of him wanting to leave UVA for any job. I also see way more coaches staying where they are at right now if they are having great success and not go elsewhere where you have to start over. It is not an indictment on IU but it is the culture we see today.

I think you are great person and enjoyed talking with you about other things but basketball. I just don't know if you should even trust your sources that much since that been wrong a lot lately. It is nothing against you personally because I am sure this is what is be said to you. I would just not trust whoever you are getting info from.

Maybe struck out on your list or fans list but who knows who is on Scott's list. Also there is no such thing as a sure thing in coaching.

I just can't believe people believe every little thing people tweet out or what some source has said. Like I said earlier I have been burnt by messages that did not turn out to be true.

I think it has been cleared they have been looking at some former players so this tweet is nothing new. I also think we need to listen to the former players more because they are the ones that made IU basketball what it is.

Why do people take gospel what so called insiders have to say. In the last few years I was private message 3 times from some of these so called insiders and none came true. I heard Donovan was coming to IU, I heard Romeo was definitely coming back for his sophomore year and last week was told Stevens was a done deal.

But he was coach at IU for 30 years or don't the last 8 years count

I am not worried about age when it comes to the coach. I just don't trust the younger up a coming coaches because I don't think they know the game like the older coaches. Especially on the offensive end where they don't really coach much offense. It is just having a pick and roll or hope you guy can take his defender off the dribble.

Why is bad for IU when people are happy and content being where they already are having success. Also they have Wal Mart money and that is more than what any IU donor has.

I am starting to think all of these media people are getting together to just mess with the IU fan base. They know we are crazy and probably laughing at us after every tweet that goes out.

I know it is different but I worked for a trucking company and our drivers had to take physicals before getting a job.

Both of them would be in my top 5 of realistic candidates unless you really believe we could get Stevens and Bennett.
