Why is no one mentioning Cade Tyson from Belmont on here? Saw he made the IU portal tracker, but crickets? Now that Hickman is out, this kid is just a Sophomore and hit 46.5% from 3 this year and 42% his Freshman year. Listed as a guard who averaged 16.2/5.9/1.6 this year and started 28/30 games his Freshman year. He’s listed as a guard at 6’7”, but man those numbers are crazy.

Different reasons......Newton is coming from a major injury that affects athleticism. Not saying he can't come back in 2 years, but expectations should be tempered. Hoping for him to contribute but his injury was a big one

He's not played in over 2 years......no one comes back from that quickly

He had a child and his kid and family were from the Mizzou area. Wasn’t that the big reason for him leaving IU. I think that is what they said.

I see him as a pesky Aaron Craft type next year thru his senior year

Looks like his only campus visits after decommitting from UCF were just UK and us? But I do agree, that Greene County connection with Dusty at Michigan may be in play here. You're right it will definitely be interesting.

Still not seeing a lot of Cade Tyson the shooter from Belmont on here. Is everyone just assuming he goes to UNC since he's from Monroe, NC? He will probably go to Butler, Purdue, etc. and turn into a Braden Smith knowing our luck with these type of players.

Honestly I think MR is better suited for the 4 and we get an athletic big who can shoot at the 5. Will take the pressure off MR of having to guard the opposing 7 footers.........

Tucker should start but watching the McDonalds all American game he looked smaller than those top 10 players in strength/muscle. He definitely needs to hit the weight room without affecting that 3 point stroke!
